Los Cabos Private Catamaran Cruise with Snorkeling & Open Bar

My husband and I treated my father to this private Catamaran experience to celebrate his 70th birthday, and we all enjoyed it. The crew had a private photographer on board, and we purchased all the raw photos from him after our ride by sending him ~$300 through Venmo. The photos were absolutely stunning, soooo good! If you can, I'd highly recommend you purchase the photos, they were amazing quality as well. (attached 1 to this review) The staff was all super friendly, attentive, and helpful, especially since we had two small children with us. We enjoyed our substituted lunch (which I paid $100 extra for) and were happy with the staff's coordination of snorkeling time/gear. Overall, it was just an amazing experience, we really appreciated the privacy. We wished we had more time was our only gripe as a whole. The boat was also a little old, had a broken windshield, and was dingy overall. I only gave them 4/5 stars because of the boat's condition and the drama leading up to this excursion. Our coordinator, Ozzie, was difficult to communicate with over WhatsApp as we had dietary restrictions. It took me about two hours to reach Viator corporate to confirm with the operators that the lunch menu would be changed ahead of the excursion. It took a number of emails and more than ~five phone calls to make the change. It really should not have been this difficult, as they kept assuring the customer that they could assist with anything. Ozzie also did not leave clear instructions on where to meet him to walk over to the proper boat dock. We ended up paying an attendant to bring us to Ozzie himself, since he knew him personally. It was the only way we could locate Ozzie and have him take us to the correct dock. The whole ordeal was also much more stressful than it needed to be. We were given an obscure address, which led us to the Hotel across the street, where there were groups of other excursion peddlers. Our taxi driver specifically told us not to go over there due to safety concerns. So we tried to find Ozzie at the pier, and it turned into a wild goose chase. It was not ideal since there were 10 of us and two small children in the August heat. Once we located him, things calmed down, but if you’re going in a big group in the middle of the day, I’d arrive just in time if you arrive 20 minutes early, like we did, prepared to run around looking for the coordinator.

It was a great experience with drinks and a delicious meal! Would definitely recommend! Boat was spacious and had room to lay out or sit. We were asked the night before if we could switch from morning to afternoon but it worked out for us. Service was excellent!

Highly recommend this tour! The crew is the best. Everything is provided and friendly. Drinks, food, music, snorkeling, whales... beyond our expectations.
