Description
Escape the concrete and catch the crisp twilight breeze on this quintessential Denver Urban Loop. This active 2 hour historical tour traces the city’s growth across 3 unique pedestrian bridges. We will guide you from the historic rail hub of lower downtown through your vibrant Confluence Park into the trendy hills of Lower Highlands. During this tour we will climb 45 steps up the Millennium Bridge, stroll through the beautiful Riverfront Park, cross the waters of the South Platte River at Confluence Park, where gold was discovered, before viewing Denver from the Highland Pedestrian Bridge. We will then retrace the path back to Union Station.This leisurely walk is approximately 1.2 miles round trip.

This tour begins in Union Station's great hall, best known as Denver's living room. After the walk through this vibrant train station we will traverse the Millennium Bridge, the world's first post tensioned cable-stayed pedestrian bridge. We will then stroll through an urban outdoor oasis, Confluence Park, where Cherry Creek meets the South Platte River—the historic birthplace of Denver. Making the way towards the Platte Street Bridge which leads us to the historic Platte Street commercial district. A charming, brick-lined corridor blending early industrial heritage with modern local boutiques and cafes. The final pedestrian bridge, the Highland Bridge, links Lower Downtown (LoDo) to trendy Lower Highlands (LoHi) a vibrant, trendy neighborhood that seamlessly blends historic Victorian architecture with sleek, modern urban design. Following the pause in LoHi, we will head back to Union Station we’ll head back toward Union Station.
