Clover Brooke Farm is the place to be!

This was my fifth time visiting Clover Brooke Farm and it certainly won’t be my last! I wanted to share this experience again with my family and now with their significant others. We all had a blast, being in nature with the llamas, alpacas, donkeys, miniature horse, goats, and sheep. Kate was our tour guide and she was very welcoming and made sure we had a great experience. It is such a fun experience, walking the alpacas and llamas! You leave there with such fond memories and you fell in love with these amazing animals! They now have an Airbnb and a private area for bachelorette parties and other special occasions. I highly recommend this experience for ages 10+.

We’re so glad Kate made your visit welcoming and memorable and that everyone enjoyed spending time with our llamas, alpacas, donkeys, goats, sheep, and Apple, our miniature horse. Thank you for your continued support and wonderful recommendation. We can’t wait to welcome you back for visit #6!

Donkey walk

My wife and I booked the Donkey walk at Clover Brook Farms. The staff was great, and we sat in a rustic air conditioned room waiting for our start time. Our Donkey walkguide was Steven. I walked Joy, and my wife walked Lee. We walked or donkeys through the farm fields that had goats, sheep, Alpacas and llamas. Very nice and peaceful as we walked and talked for an hour or so. The tour ended at the farmhouse store, which had some nice items. We will be going back!

Operator response

Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed your peaceful walk through the farm with Steven, Joy, and Lee. We truly appreciate your kind words about our staff, animals, and farm store—and we look forward to welcoming you both back to Clover Brooke Farm!

A Unique Experience

My wife and I did the llama / alpaca hike and really enjoyed it. The animals are well behaved and there was no spitting involved. The hike is the perfect distance and not too strenuous, winding through meadow and shaded forest trails with only minor hills. Our guide was great and we learned a lot about the animals and farm life.

Operator response

Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re so glad you and your wife enjoyed your llama and alpaca hike. It’s always nice to hear our animals were on their best behavior—no spitting! We’re happy you enjoyed the trails and learned more about our animals and farm. We hope to welcome you back to Clover Brooke Farm again soon!

Smells like rotten Eggs at this air b and b

We stayed in the Air B and B apartments on the farm and don’t recommend. The water in the bathroom smells terrible of rotten eggs. The water also doesn’t drain in the bathroom sink or kitchen sink. The owner gave lie to my husband to put didn’t the sink to try to help the water go find and he burned the skin on his hands. We left the apt completely clean and the owner we think was upset we didn’t write a review so she made up lies saying we were messy guests in an air b and b rating which is unprofessional and surprising a business owner would do that. The owner is not friendly what’s so ever would walk by without an a hello. We were very surprised and disappointed by the experience.

Operator response

Thank you for your review. We were surprised to read many of the concerns raised here, as they were never communicated during your stay despite several conversations while you were participating in our animal experiences. We even asked whether you were experiencing a slow drain, and you indicated you were not sure but would take the Draino if needed. At no point did you mention an injury, unresolved issue, or dissatisfaction with your stay. As noted in your Airbnb review, the posted and texted checkout procedures were not followed. Specifically, the kitchen was left with a sink full of dishes containing dried, caked-on food despite a dishwasher, detergent tablets, and checkout instructions being provided for guest convenience. Additionally, significant gouges were discovered in the bathroom sink following your stay. Unfortunately, the damage could not be repaired and the sink has since been replaced. We always appreciate the opportunity to address concerns during a guest’s stay and wish you the best in your future travels.

Unique and amazing experience with unique and amazing creatures

What a unique and amazing experience this was! Kate, the guide, was so well spoken and knowledgeable. The rain did not dampen our spirits as Kate made it fun throughout. We were so pleasantly surprised that each one of us got to walk our own llama or alpaca. Photo ops were frequent and entertaining. It was the highlight of our week long trip in this ea and we would do it again!!

Operator response

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that your llama and alpaca hike was the highlight of your trip. Kate truly enjoys sharing her knowledge and love of the animals, and we’re thrilled that her enthusiasm helped make the rainy day such a memorable experience. One of our favorite parts of the hike is giving guests the opportunity to lead their own llama or alpaca, creating those special one-on-one moments (and plenty of fun photo opportunities along the way!). Thank you for spending part of your vacation with us and for taking the time to share your experience. We hope to welcome you back to Clover Brooke Farm again soon for another adventure with the herd!

Smiles and Laughs Guaranteed

Our day at Clover Brooke Farm was a true standout for our family. We were a group of 10 ranging from 8 to 66 years old and everyone had the best time. We started with the llama/alpaca hike after meeting some of the animals, broke for a picnic lunch, which we brought from home, and then did a lavender loofah activity before Llamaste yoga. The setting is beautiful, the guides/teachers were excellent and the activities could not have brought more laughs or smiles. One of our granddaughters who is super excited to go to sleep away camp this summer said as we were wrapping up the day, " I'd give up sleep away camp if I could bring a llama home!"

Operator response

Thank you so much for this wonderful review! It was a joy to host your family and spend the day sharing the farm with three generations. We love hearing that everyone—from age 8 to 66—found something to enjoy. It sounds like you packed in the full Clover Brooke Farm experience with the llama and alpaca hike, picnic lunch, lavender loofah workshop, and Llamaste Yoga! We’re delighted that the day was filled with laughter, smiles, and special family memories. Your granddaughter’s comment absolutely made our day! While we’re not quite ready to send a llama home, we’d be thrilled to welcome her back for more llama adventures anytime. Thank you again for spending your day with us and for sharing such a heartwarming story. We hope to see your family back on the farm again soon.

LLAMAS AND ALPACAS- DO NOT MISS THIS!

Walking with the llamas and alpacas was such fun. It is an easy hike and the animals were sweet and well behaved. The whole farm was full of animals and the guides made it such an enjoyable experience.
