I want to take you off the beaten paths, in Lisbon’s most narrow streets, to taste the best Portuguese dishes & drinks in authentic places. Join the fun! Come with me and taste the best of Lisbon! Located in the city-center & known as the historic cradle of Lisbon, the district of Alfama has kept its antiquated charm. Alfama combines the cuisine of the land and the sea. Stopping at some unique places, I will show you how to live like a real local during this walking gourmet experience! The restaurants we visit are very different one from the other, so after my experience you'll have a great overview of what our food scene is like nowadays!

This tour was amazing! It was small and personal, the food was great and you could tell that our tour guide Francisco has a very close relationship with the restaurant owners, as he would jump in and help them and showed them so much respect. Francisco was a phenomenal asset to this tour. He shared so much interesting history, personal stories, answered so many questions from us, and really made the tour exceptional. I recommend this food tour 100%.

Francisco did an amazing job on this tour! We’ve done a few food tours in Europe and always enjoy them, but Francisco went above and beyond in terms of continually engaging with the guests, making sure we were all happy, well watered, and enjoyed himself, even giving us personalized recommendations at the end. Bravo! The food itself was great, and more than enough to feel plenty full. The wines and foods felt local and of a good traditional variety, and they were able to accommodate our disinterest in red meat with alternative seafood dishes that were delicious. The tour definitely made us feel more comfortable with Lisbon, welcomed, and better acquainted with local specialities!
Ruth’s was great! She was knowledgeable and easy to talk to. This tour is great for groups and solo travelers. She makes everyone feel welcome. All of the food stops are family owned which enhanced the experience.

Great tour of 5 stops. Very personable guide who talked about the history and culture along with the 18 food and drink tastings. Seemed to focus positively on out-of-the-way spots you'd never find on your own.
