Ruth was a brilliant tour guide. She is very friendly and has the perfect personality for it. Their is a good bit of walking in this so be prepared but it is so worth it! The whole day was fantastic. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon 👌.
Simply put, fantastic tour. Organized, informative, well paced, humorous, and everything else you want from a tour. I will say that weather was certainly on our side for day of the tour too Catarina was our tour guide and was handling our large group with ease. Any minor hiccup was dealt with grace, including someone being sick on the bus. Her personality was super friendly so it made for an inviting atmosphere to ask plenty of questions (which she was happy to answer). She also gave her phone number out in case any questions or concerns came up during some free roam time. All in all, you’d be lucky to have her as a guide! Now as a few heads up, the city of Sintra had changed some of the automotive rules, so we did have to pay a few more euros (~3ish for a round trip) for a city bus to head into part of the town. Thankfully our timing made it so we didn’t have to wait for said buses (everything else ran by the company was like clockwork) Lastly, they do give us ear pieces to be able to hear our guide from a distance. But aware that in some of the pathways and buildings, the audio will cut out. Not much can be done with that but try to stay close to the guide when possible to avoid it! P.S. Shout out to Carlos too as our driver
We had an amazing experience on this trip! Katerina (Kat) was absolutely fantastic. Everything was very well organized, and we never felt rushed at any point. Kudos to Buendia Travel for having such a wonderful team member. Kat was professional, extremely knowledgeable, and very attentive to every detail. She made the experience enjoyable and memorable. I would highly recommend this trip and would definitely travel with Buendia again!
Incredible is an understatement. An excellent tour. Maria, Camila, and Diogo are the best. I went with my friends, there were 5 of us and we all had a great time. 100% recommended
Sintra was one of my favorite places. The bus ride was long but comfortable. We stopped at Cascais which we could have done without. In Sintra there is a lot of uphill walking to the two palaces but they were both worth it. The amount of free time given was plenty to get lunch and shop the area. Myriam was a great guide and has a beautiful opera voice.
Awesome excursion! Lives the well and Pena Palace! Be aware that there is about 6 miles of walking up & down hills. Exhausting but absolutely worth the effort!
It’s a great tour with beautiful scenic views, and interesting history. Travelers should be prepared for long uphill walks, steps and uneven pavement. Cascais was nice, but the recently-added stop there was not really worth the extra time.
Our tour was very friendly, informative and entertaining. We had enough time to explore each location. He also recommended local places to eat and shop.
Good Muuuito! Guide Maira extremely attentive and knowledgeable of history. We recommend it to everyone!!!!!!
AGENCY NOT RECOMMENDED DUE TO DISORGANIZATION! The agency informed us of a change of program due to adverse and, according to them, dangerous conditions at Cabo da Roca. It's a shame that later, when calling the agency during the tour, they informed us that the change was due to the fact that most people wanted to go to Cascais (and not to Cabo da Roca) due to a lack of services. We were not asked if it was okay with us, nor were we given the possibility to cancel and/or modify, considering that we had chosen the tour precisely to see Cabo da Roca and avoid Cascais. In short, the agency ruined the day for all the members of the group who found themselves in our situation.
