- Summer Schedule (Mar – Oct): Every Day 9:00 to 21:00 – Last entry at 20:30 (30 mins before closing time).
- Winter Schedule (Nov – Feb): Every Day 9:00 to 18:00 – Last entry at 17:30 (30 mins before closing time). On December 31st, Castelo de S. Jorge closes at 1pm.

The audio guide gave a great step by step path to explore and enjoy the castle. The ticket line was quite long when we arrived so we were glad to have the skip the line access. The overlooks provide breathtaking views of Lisbon. Walking through the castle and climbing the stairs to the top was a stroll through history. Great way to spend a few hours with the family and steps away from great shopping in the surrounding neighborhood.
The Viator tickets we received by email were refused at the castle entrance; we downloaded them several times at the entrance hoping to get valid tickets, but without success. We tried calling the help number, which did not answer... So we bought tickets on-site in order to do the tour. We requested a refund, which was denied. So we paid €78 for invalid tickets and €55 on-site. Thanks Viator, we will never buy tickets for anything through Tripadvisor again.
It was a wonderful visit to the castle and the audio guide is a must.
I downloaded the ticket to my wallet but it wouldn’t scan and we were denied entry.
It was very good for the view that the Château offers us.
The visit to the castle was probably more a 4 or 5 but I reduced the rating because of the way in which the tickets were delivered to us. What I thought were actually tickets was just a receipt which doesn’t get you into the castle. The link was clearly marked and it prompted me to add it to my iPhone wallet. I’m pretty sure the guards at the entrance gate have experienced this in the past but didn’t seem at all interested in helping us figure out what to do. The link to the actual tickets was so small (it just had my name followed by PDF) that three of us read and reread the email until someone spotted it. All they need to do is make that link plainly visible in larger font and this rating would have been better.
Excellent experience. It was so essay to purchase the tickets and a smooth entrance into the castle without any line up or waiting. Natalia was great at communicating from start to finish to ensure our experienced went smoothly. The audio was excellent- detailed and informative. I highly recommend this self guided tour with audio!

Got to the gate and they said they were closing despite our time slot on TripAdvisor not even occurring yet. We didn't manage to get in. We were also told that this was much more expensive than if we had just bought our tickets at the door

We had a bad experience. There did not meet guides up. We couldn't call anyone up. The tickets we had received did not work in Borgens ticket system. We feel badly treated. We had to buy new tickets directly at the entrance. We are also not satisfied with the handling of our complaint. At the entrance the guards told me that they were experiencing this every day....

I received the tickets electronically, but the file never opened, so I ended up buying other tickets. I contacted the provider of the tickets, but no help at all.
