The meeting location was easy to find. Mark was exceptionally nice and knowledgeable about the area and history. It was an extremely hot and humid day so he even offered everyone bottles of water. Any previous negative reviews makes absolutely no sense because this man could not have been nicer! Would absolutely do another tour with him!!!!
He did a great job! He really brought the experience to life. Very informative and fun
There was more history than expected.
Mark was such a great tour guide. He was so knowledgeable of the history of the Lemp family and also told stories about other true crime around St. Louis. I would recommend this tour to everyone that wants to go on one. Also bonus you get your moneys worth since it’s an hour and 45 min. I would recommend wearing good walking shoes and be aware that there are some steps to climb since it’s half indoor and outdoor. You do walk a lot in this tour so be prepared to get your steps in. Overall it was a great tour.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and had interesting facts about the area.
We enjoyed this tour very much. We took it at sunset and loved listening to the history behind the Lemp Family and the Brewery. The Doctor was very engaging and kept everything moving at a good pace and answered all of our questions. Would definitely recommend this tour.
We thought it would be more about the Lemps
Really? I think you were expecting something sensationalized, and I refuse to do that! The first 40 minutes and the first 2 stops of the tour are nothing but Lemp Family History and the Lemp Mansion's haunting. How much more Lemp history and Lemp Haunting can I possibly give you? We cover everything from 1836 to 1991. Also, we show you historical photos and actual ghost photos taken from inside the Lemp Mansion and Lemp Brewery. If there were more history about the Lemp Family, I would give it to you! Mark
Dr Mark gave us a lot of great history and ghost lore about the Lemp family and mansion. Some legendy stuff about other buildings. Some light stuff. Then the basement under the Lemp brewery which was scary. I won’t ruin it for you. The reason i cant give 5 stars is he had us take a group photo in the basement and say “Hail Satan”. I said how about “cheese”. He said nope. I know he will remember me and reply something snotty as is tradition. Worth the money tho
I was trying to get you to smile during the group photo. Most people find it funny after being creeped out for the past 105 minutes. Actually, I don't remember your comment at all. I think you are just picking at something small, trying to get a rise out of me, hoping I will make a snotty comment. Mark
Interesting, informative. The your guide was very knowledgeable and nice. The best part was going on the actual buildings.
Dr Mark was incredibly informative on his tour. His amazing sense of humor had us laughing and also in shock while learning about new things that we had no idea about. Mark was very welcoming and a very nice guy. Definitely worth booking and can’t wait to book more in the future
