Kelly was a fantastic tour guide and I thought I already knew quite a bit about Fremont St. I learned so much, and found new things to try. I need to get back to even put a dent in the list. This is definitely one you'll want to do early on in your visit.
This tour was the best value for our money. We met Kelly, out tour guide, at the Plaza. The meeting place was very easy to hook up with the group. The guide was very informative and super conscious of our comfort. We learned so much about the history of Vegas, it was amazing. I would highly recommend this your to any adults wanting to get a feel for the old Vegas.
Tour lead Kelly was great - informative, responsive to guests (i.e. made culturally relevant references for both other states and countries of guests), and thoughtful. It was 115-degree heat on the day and he made sure we got as much shade as possible without losing any detail or experience. Not only did he amply demonstrate incredible local and historical knowledge, but he made it engaging and relevant, communiciating genuine passion for the city and downtown in particular. I'd recommend it to any visitor, returning or newbie. Great.
My friend and I really enjoyed the tour. Our guide was passionate, knowledgeable, and very informative. We appreciated the headsets. While his presentation style was a little dry at times, I have a great deal of respect for someone who takes pride in their work, shares their knowledge, and delivers exactly what was promised. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we truly appreciated the effort and dedication he put into sharing his passion and love for Las Vegas. I highly recommend this tour — and I say that as someone who travels frequently and has experienced many tours!
What a wonderful surprise! We weren't quite sure how this tour would be, but are SO glad we scheduled it! It was an exceptional tour - and Kelly was a fantastic guide! He is very knowledgeable and shared so much interesting history and neat stories about this part of Vegas. Absolutely loved that Kelly provided head phones too! Nothing more frustrating than a tour guide talking to the 1 or two people that are walking along side him - while no one else can hear. The headphones were a huge plus. Great job Kelly and thank you for such a fun experience! Definitely one of our highlights on our trip!
Absolutely worth it! This 2-hour guided walking tour of Downtown Las Vegas on Fremont Street exceeded our expectations. Our local guide brought the 7-block “walk through time” to life — from its humble beginnings to Glitter Gulch and the impressive urban renewal story — with engaging stories and insider context. The wireless headsets made it easy to hear every detail, and the guide’s tips, restaurant recommendations, and coupons were incredibly helpful afterward. Fun for solo travelers, couples, or families, and a perfect way to discover why Downtown is a must-see Vegas destination. Highly recommended!
Kelly is the best walking tour guide he is exceptional and has explained everything so clearly and understanding for everyone in the tour so 100% recommended
Really interesting tour and great guide with fascinating stories. Highly recommended if you want to see the original side of Vegas.
Kelley did a great job explaining the importance and historical aspects of LasVegas in its beginning. His command of the knowledge was amazing. Did a great job Highlighting the great attributes and revitalization of LV Downtown. Thanks recommending highly.
Kelly was fantastic! Knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. The walking tour starts at the plaza and ends at the container park. It was really hot in June but we still had a great time. I’d bring lots of water! The tour was a great way to learn about the history of Las Vegas and get insider tips. My boyfriend and I ended up staying at the golden gate the next day and checked out circas rooftop bar which Kelly recommended. I like the audio headset so you can hear what the guide is saying easily and the binder full of visual aids of what Vegas looked like before. We felt like we learned a lot
