The Godafoss waterfall was spectacular, apart from the hordes of flies which were somewhat annoying! Lake Myvatn area is huge and involved multiple stops. The lava formations, hot mud pools, Gjotagia caves all spectacular! The minibus was clean and comfortable and whilst our driver gave a reasonable commentary during the drive, was not very clear about the details at each stop and did not join us during each visit so it felt like the opportunity to understand more about each venue was a bit lost. Hence a 4 rather than 5 star review.
It was a lot of driving but that was known going in. We had a small group so we had freedom concerning how long we made each stop. Definitely saw more on this tour than was possible from the cruise ship.
It was fantastic and a great driver with a great be adventure of back roads - so fun…..it’s a beautiful country
An excellent day out with a good guide. We were shown extra kindness by the staff at Arctic Adventures.
We had the best time - very knowledgeable guide. Highly recommend
You see a variety of Icelandic specialties. Godafoss waterfall, geothermal area, the beautiful landscapes and Lake Myvatn with the option to go in the baths (extra cost and take your own towel). You can pay to rent a towel if needed. There's plenty to experience in this trip.
Wonderful experience! Learned and saw a lot! Graham was a great guide as he shared information about all the locations we visited and gave us tips for how to get the most out of our time.
Excellent trip thr nature/ earth baths were a real treat. Waterfalls beautiful. Mr G a great driver and guide. Really friendly and helpful chap
We really enjoyed our shore excursion with Palmi as our guide. Very informative on the bus between stops and always knew the best places to go at each location. Highly recommended!
The tour guide was very informative and entertaining. He made the excursion a lot of fun. It was much cheaper doing it through Viator then booking it on the ship.
