Toboggan, winter snow walks, cross-country ski, or simply enjoy the snow at Lake Mountain Alpine Resort. Visit the stunning Steavenson Waterfall of Marysville and get your taste buds moving with a stop off at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery.

Depart Melbourne at 8:00 AM for a full day of alpine adventure and scenic beauty.
As part of the experience, guests will have the opportunity to support locals and buy something for lunch at Beechworth Bakery in Healesville or while on the mountain (at the guest's own expense).
Explore the alpine snow region of Lake Mountain
Take a stroll down to Victoria's largest waterfall located on the edge of Marysville township.
Enjoy delicious chocolate samples at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie.
After a fun-filled day in the snow and sweet treats in the Yarra Valley, sit back and relax as we make our comfortable journey back to Melbourne. We return to the city around 6:00 PM, just in time for dinner and to share your alpine memories.

- Child fare prices apply to infants and children aged from 0 to 12 years old. Children aged 0 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian at all times.
- Child safety seats can be requested at the time of booking, subject to availability but are not guaranteed. We are not obligated by regulations to provide child safety seats.
- Please bring: Weather proof warm clothing including hat, scarf and gloves, comfortable walking shoes with grip and a spare set of dry clothes
- Snow Equipment Hire: Guests can arrange this on arrival to Lake Mountain Resort, at their own expense payable on arrival. No pre-bookings required.
- Only Lake Mountain-provided toboggans may be used on the Village Toboggan Run, Mini Toboggan Run, and Koala Creek Run (if open)—no private sleds or makeshift slides allowed. While you may bring your own cross-country skis or snowshoes, these must be hired or sourced off-premises (e.g., in Marysville) before arrival. Lake Mountain only provides clothing and snow boots. Please note there are no ski lessons offered on the mountain this 2025 season.

The trip went smoothly without feeling rushed. We had ample time to explore and Peter’s very knowledgeable & shares interesting facts! Peter helped make the experience an enjoyable one, he’s also lead us during the trails and took photos for everyone. The atmosphere at Lake Mountain, Steavenson Falls & Yarra Valley Chocolaterie was special as it wasn’t too crowded. We practically had the place to ourselves at times - such as the lake mountain trail to the lookout. Best for families, couples & singles - so many activities for all!
