Misleading and uncomfortable transit time, good boat tour
So, the 4 hours on the boat were nice. The drive there / back was not and much longer than indicated. The tour info says 2 hours each way, 8 hours total. I was picked up at 7:am and dropped off just after 6:30pm. It was also uncomfortable as all that was left was a cramped seat in the back next to the cooler. I was staying in the main hotel zone just 20 minutes North of Cabo San Lucas.
There is a big difference between 4 hours total travel time vs 7.5 hours. The van made many stops ( some pretty far out of the way.) It was 4.5 hours just coming back from the boat ride until I was dropped off.
Tbe tour itself was good with friendly staff. Was that 4 hours worth almost 8 hours of fairly uncomfortable transit time? I have to say no, it was not.

Trip was very nice, Viator not as much
I can't lie - the excursion itself was AWESOME - from the drive to La Paz from Cabo, to the Catamaran, the food, the drinks, the vibe, our main guy Joe kept everyone happy. Balandra was beautiful and definitely worth the hype. Here's the problem - and unfortunately it does not have to do with the excursion itself but I must take it out of my system. I tried to book this experience online with Cabo Adventures for both me and my wife for $153 per person and was told they only had "one spot" left for the date I wanted. I then booked it with Viator who used Boat Trips Club as the tour operator for $224 per person. However, on the date of the excursion, we were picked up at the hotel by a Cabo Adventure van and were told (for the first time) that we were indeed going on this experience with Cabo Adventures. instead of Boat Trips Club. When contacting Boat Trips Club to ask about potentially being reimbursed the $142 price differential, I was informed that they at times use Cabo Adventures as a partner and that if I had any problems to deal directly with Viator. I have booked many excursions with Viator (mostly in Europe) but I have zero expectation that Viator will do anything to make this right. It is sad, but what the heck. Sorry again and thanks for letting me vent. Bottom line is that the trip was worth it - go have fun

The tour guide canceled on me at midnight after telling me they'd tell me a pick up time twice
Poor communication. I booked this 24 hrs in advance and they canceled on me around 1145pm instead of telling me a pick up time after asking twice the evening before. They offered rescheduling but all my days were planned out and even if I did have time to reschedule, I would never use this company after being told they'd get back with a pick up time only to be canceled saying it was full. Such a disappointment.

Not worth it! Long long day
This was rough. The day was too long and not worth it. We got picked up at 7:15 am and didn’t get home until dark. It was about 2.5 hours drive on bus from marina/ check in and when you arrived in La Paz on the bus you then board their boat. The whole thing was underwhelming for sure. The boat takes you to see some rocks and not impressive. Then to some sea lions which thank goodness was very cool then on to a small beach where you are put on a smaller boat to go to a very small sand area. They had 4-5 umbrellas with chairs and 4-5 kayaks to enjoy.
Yes the water was calm but not worth the hours to get there. La Paz is super industrial. The water is calm and pretty but not much beach to spread out. Our group we were with was a group of 25 plus other groups were there so it was more folks than what I would have liked. Then back home on bus. Folks it’s a long day and just don’t think it was worth it. Total we were on bus 5 hours which was rough.
