Begin your small-group Kusadasi Walking & Food Tasting Tour at the historic Okuz Mehmet Pasa Kervansaray, located directly across from the Kusadasi Cruise Port exit gate. Your local foodie guide welcomes you with a light Turkish breakfast featuring simit, local cheese, olives, and freshly brewed Turkish tea—a relaxed and authentic start to your culinary journey.
Enjoy a guided walk through Kusadasi’s historic Kaleici district, once surrounded by city walls and shaped by its role as an important Aegean port. Along the way, visit key landmarks including Kaleici Mosque, remnants of the old fortifications, and traditional streets full of local life. As you explore, stop at carefully selected local venues to taste the best of Turkish cuisine: Handmade manti with garlic yogurt and butter sauce A tasting of regional Turkish cheeses Freshly sliced doner kebab, a classic of Turkish street food Aegean Seafood & Meze Tasting, including a variety of cold mezes and crispy Kalamar Tava (calamari) The experience ends on a sweet note with baklava and rich Turkish coffee, a tradition rooted in Ottoman hospitality. All food tastings and soft drinks are included. Alcoholic beverages are optional and available at extra cost.

Polat and his companion were amazing hosts! Around a 4 hour tour that covered many drinks, meals, snacks, and desserts (without giving anything away). Highly recommend if you want something different from the standard cruise excursion!

The tour lasted about 4 hours, all great local establishments with great food. In all honesty, it was tough to get through the whole tour in terms of having enough stomach room to eat it all. Had to leave some leftovers in order to save room for the rest of the stops. Overall amazing tour.

We had an enjoyable day learning the history and tasting local foods. Started the morning with traditional breakfast, had a Turkish coffee and tea, Doner and wonderful seaside mezzas. The sweets were fabulous too. Friendly people and great guides. Highly recommend!
