In the morning, the tour guide will pick you up from Tirana and start the journey towards Mount Sari Salltik. Enjoy the guide’s insights and a scenic ride along a panoramic mountain road to visit this holy site, which holds great significance in the Bektashi faith. Perched at 1,176 meters above sea level, the cave shrine offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
After visiting Sari Salltik, continue to the historic city of Kruja, where the guided walking tour begins at the Old Bazaar—one of the oldest and largest in Albania, filled with traditional souvenirs and handicrafts. The guide will provide explanations during the walk, while free time for shopping will be available later.
Next, proceed inside the Kruja Castle, strolling through its ancient walls and learning about its history. From the outside, the guide will introduce you to the Skanderbeg Museum, dedicated to Albania’s national hero, as well as the Ethnographic Museum, the Turkish Bath, the Skanderbeg Olive, and the castle’s secret entrance.
Free Time / Lunch After soaking in the culture and history, enjoy your free time to explore the Old Bazaar, take photos, visit the museums, or have lunch at your own pace. IMPORTANT: During off season November- May most of the museums may be closed on Monday.
In the afternoon, return to Tirana.

We had a wonderful and very interesting excursion! Everything was well organized and went perfectly from start to finish. A special thanks to our guide Irena, who was excellent. She explained everything very clearly, and her English was very good and easy to understand. We learned a lot about Albania, its history and culture thanks to her. The places we visited were absolutely beautiful, especially Krujë, which was one of the highlights of the trip. Overall, everything was perfect: beautiful sites, a great atmosphere and an excellent guide. Highly recommended!

A great tour of Kruja and Mount Sarisalltik. Bledjan (Blade) was an amazing tour guide that made the experience fun and enjoyable, any minor issues on the way were dealt with smoothly and efficiently. Lots of fun and interesting facts also told the entire way!
The program was according to the plan, the guide Nisa was nice and attentive and informative. The driving was smooth throughout the mountain.
Could’ve been longer. The day was really good and excellent value for money but felt really rushed. Our guide was very knowledgeable but didn’t have much of a rapport with the guests.
We were on the tour in Krujë today and overall everything was well organized. However, there was unfortunately no talk of an air-conditioned ride. With the high temperatures, it was very warm on the bus and therefore the ride was quite uncomfortable. They should definitely work on better air conditioning here.
