Death camps a has become a symbol of World War II atrocities. Created by the Nazis in occupied Poland in 1940 near the town of "Oświęcim". Immediately after the war ended camps were transformed into the museum, that was in 1947. Since then visitors can see the conditions in which people lived and literally feel the enormity of atrocities perpetrated upon them. The current museum occupies an area of two extant parts of the former Nazi concentration camp – Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau. Together they hold an extensive area, where the prisoners’ barracks, the ruins of the crematoria and gas chambers, and the railway platform at Birkenau are located. Our driver will pick you up from the arranged place (eg. hotel). You will then be transferred to the place of your destination. Our driver will ensure that you are not having any problems with finding yourself in a new place. He will then wait until you have finished sightseeing and drive you back at your place.

Pickup Locations & Times

We offer direct pickup from your place of stay in Krakow. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel, apartment or meeting point between 05:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. (pick-up time will be confirmed ONE DAY (1 DAY, around 4 P.M. - 7 P.M.) before the tour. The pick-up time depends on the time of entry to the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum, which is different every day, therefore the pick-up time for each day is agreed individually with each client). It may happen that on some days (in an exceptional situation) you will be asked to approach the meeting point, which is approximately a 5 minute walk from your accommodation in Krakow. Please remember to take with you your document like ID card, passport or driving license because tickets to the Auschwitz-Birkenau museum are PERSONAL NAME tickets. In situations where a visitor does not have a document, employees of the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum may refuse such a person entry to the museum. Hotel pickup is offered. Please check the list of hotels on our checkout page to see if yours is included in the pickup points. If not, please select one of our meeting points or contact us to work out the details of your pick up.

• One day (1 day, around 4 P.M. - 7 P.M. ) before the tour we will send you exact pick up time from your location.
• Please note, that the maximum size of backpacks or handbags brought into the Auschwitz Museum & Memorial can not exceed dimensions: 30x20x10cm.
• Guided tour in Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum will have a maximum of 30 participants.
• Professional English speaking guide is provided by the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum.
• We, as a Auschwitz-Krakow Tours, are not responsible for any refusal to enter the Museum later than the time indicated on the ticket due to customers arriving late for the previously agreed pick-up time, which will result in missing the guided tour.

The best company!

I wholeheartedly recommend this company! Wiktoria, who works in the office, organized literally everything for us. She handled the airport transfer, the trip to Auschwitz-Birkenau, and the salt mines very professionally. Our driver Adam picked us up for the tours and told us about Krakow's history along the way. He was very friendly and polite. They both made our stay in Krakow truly special.

Powerful tour

The actual Auschwitz tour and driver were excellent and we ended up having a very meaningful experience. The visit itself was really well organised on the day and we're grateful it went ahead. However, the communication beforehand caused a lot of stress, including requests to change dates and uncertainty about whether the trip would happen at all. As we travelled from the UK for only 3 days specifically for this tour, that was very worrying. Thankfully everything worked out in the end with excellent communication.

Auschwitz visit.

We loved the place; it is a visit that you must definitely make if you are in Krakow. A must-visit. The service was very good!!!! Julián was extremely attentive with the transportation for our baby, and our driver Victoria was THE BEST. She was very willing, providing us with information, patient, and we loved traveling with her. Thank you, Victoria, for your kindness and attention. The only thing we think could improve is the service at the museum and the guided tour. We couldn't take a photo because we were already running from one place to another; we were also not informed that we were entering and exiting through different doors at the various locations, and therefore we had to run to find the car for the baby. It was a bit frustrating. The guide wanted to provide so much information that she spoke almost non-stop, and some things were not clear since at the same time one was trying to take photos, read what was on the walls, observe, and run after her to not lose her. It is a visit that we are not sure if we will repeat, and not being able to dedicate the time we would like or believe each space deserves is a bit annoying. The rest was very good.
