The cruise was OK

The guide was very pleasant and the cruise was Enjoyable. If you have done the 3 hour daytime cruise there is no need to do the evening one

More could be done

For an evening that I hoped was different from the usual, I gave the aperitif at sunset on the boat. Too bad he found out after paying that the aperitif is not included! Basically, it's a classic hike at sunset. So, extra drinks and then... bagged chips, canned drinks... definitely shabby as an aperitif. The ride itself is cute but not worth that much.

Great Night...Wonderful Sunset

We took the 2 hour sunset harbour cruise on July 4th. It was lovely! Our cruise director, Greg, made the tour fun with great information about sites as we passed by them. The sunset was magnificent from the water. Lights were beginning to come on in buildings along the waterfront as we docked... it looked magical. We would highly recommend this cruise. Don't forget a jacket as it was breezy out on the water.

Simply Amazing!!

We had the pleasure of experiencing the Kingston 1000 Islands Sunset Dinner Cruise. What an experience! From the moment we walked on the boat every detail of the evening was executed perfectly. We purchased the premium seating which was well worth it. The scenery is incredible and we were served a cheese plate as soon as we were sat. The Saint Lawrence River, Lake Ontario and the Rideau Canal all come together to make for spectacular viewing! The on stage entertainment was the perfect accompaniment to the 3 course dinner. The Braised Short Rib was delicious. By the end of the evening the musician had the majority of the cruise up dancing! Would highly recommend this cruise while visiting Kingston. Extremely well done you will enjoy every minute!

Do not recommend

Wedding season is upon us, so now is a great time to advise against this venue for your big day. Leading up to the wedding I was in last October, there was no phone number to call, and emails went unanswered. The night of the cruise, decorations were not placed, tables were rearranged in the wrong order and the itinerary was not followed (the boat did not dock as planned, and later did a U-turn after hearing our complaints). The food service was terribly slow, the meals themselves were incorrect, and plates were ice cold. Worse still, the bride and groom were the last two people served. Staff was not willing to address our concerns, each one stating this was not their problem. The only saving grace was the wonderful DJ who saw the poor service and gave us information on who to follow up with. Unfortunately that still took months for a partial refund. We had a beautiful night with great friends and family in spite of this awful company, but none of us will take another cruise, and we certainly would never consider it as a wedding venue for anyone in the future.

Relaxing fun and felt pampered

Had a fabulous time with my girlfriends in Aug. Despite being a super hot day we were comfortable and loved all the food. The music was great and we were able to go up top for photos. We paid premium for an edge seat but any table is good with covid safety precautions. Very friendly staff and easy boarding process with interesting info. Would definitely recommend! Great way to see the island esp since travel cruises aren't an option right now.

Disappointing Sunset Cruise

Booked Sunset Cruise with Premium Table and was pleased to pay the extra to get premium sitting. Entertainment on this boat was lacking in quality and prior always enjoyed the comedy with Mr. Bridges . Previous years there was dialogue as we travelled telling about Royal Military College, Fort Henry, Canadian/USA waters. info re: 1000 Islands etc. Meal entree was very slow getting to everyone and by the time it got to our table(2nd last) one person got large serving of beef while the 3 others had scant amount as if they were running out of food. Very tacky for waitress to repeat 3 times to be generous to kitchen staff for tipping and it was already mentioned on menu. Definitely will NOT go again even though I usually take my out-of-town guests on the Sunset Cruise when they visit. For near $500 for 4 people the value is lacking!

Excellent dinner. Outstanding server.

The cruise was so nice. The dinner was absolutely amazing. We had 3 beef short ribs dinner and 1 pickerel and all were delicious. Our server was Ayden and he was top notch... We can not say enough positive things about him and the whole dinner experience.

sometimes, it is just a bad luck when you meet some rude people

the cruise itself, not bad. But, unfortunately, at that day, we have a group of inconsiderate people join this cruise, and it was awful, they just talk , scream and laugh so loud, and i can't hear anything the history about this place. Not to mention, they are all sitting on the dock which clearly state, no sitting. oh oh, on top of that, they smoke weed, in public area, which has children on it!! why not, right? oh do i mentioned that they are also not wear any mask, none of them. Just after from the behind dock, they starting moving around and again, no mask... and the crew just not there... so yea, it was terrible, and won't do it again. I don't think this will happen often, i was just unlucky. And it sucks because also none of the crew do anything, even tho they saw them, until someone make their way to the management and complaint to them.

Operator response

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that your cruise experience with us was spoiled by other guests' behavior. Our crew does their best to enforce social distancing and mask use with our guests onboard, however it is hard for us to do so on the dock and surrounding areas. Smoking is absolutely prohibited onboard all of our vessels, but some of our guests choose to smoke on the dock before boarding. I hope we will have another chance to welcome you onboard in the future, so you can have a better experience next time.
