Experience was Light, refreshing, and enjoyable.
This tour wasn’t quite what I was expecting. That’s not the guide’s fault; it was my own misunderstanding of what activities we’d be doing. That said, I think the guide could have been more engaging, more helpful and friendlier. She seemed annoyed that I booked as a single person and just hung out while I toured the galleries. She didn’t really explain anything or provide insight into the artists. I was hoping this would be a more interactive activity, but it was essentially touring art galleries with high priced art then going to a craft market for souvenirs. Moreover, I wasn’t told the amount I’d be liable for transportation until close to the end of the tour. Luckily, I had enough cash on me. Had I known, I would have skipped this activity and done something different.
dear samantha Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations. I appreciate your honesty, and I understand that the experience was different from what you had anticipated. I also apologize if I came across as less engaging than expected. My goal is always to make every guest feel welcome and provide an enjoyable, informative experience, whether they are traveling solo or in a group. Regarding the transportation cost, I sincerely apologize for the lack of clear communication. I understand how frustrating unexpected expenses can be. I have already taken steps to ensure all transportation costs are clearly communicated to guests before the tour begins to avoid any confusion in the future. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. It helps me improve the experience I offer, and I truly hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to Kigali for a much better experience
The tour guide is amazing, so complacent. She drove us everywhere and we spent additional time. We even experienced the market! Amazing! This is a tour of art galleries so no much art history is discussed.
We were able to visit several galleries with Aline and gained interesting insights. The tour ended in one of the car-free streets with a great restaurant recommendation.
Aline was very informative, professional and had a lovely personality. The art galleries and co-operatives we visited en route were all interesting and had their own unique story. Aline was a great story teller and had her own unique sense of humour. I thank her for suggesting we could use YEGO motorcycles as an option to get to each gallery site. What total fun!
thank you so much was a great to have you
Aline is an amazing tour guide. She was flexible, deeply knowledgeable and was able to ensure I got the best deals during the fashion tour. I would absolutely book again with Aline next time I'm in Kigali.
It was amazing to meet many of the artists and talk to them about their work. The art will not disappoint! There is a large range of styles , and while I was not anticipating buying any paintings, I ended up with three! I can’t wait to add them to my collection at home. Aline was a terrific guide, and she enhanced the overall experience. More fun than going alone! I had a car from the hotel but next time might try the motorbiking!
Fun way to see and experience Kigali with a local. Aline is warm and fun. It was like spending the afternoon with a girlfriend, not a paid guide. Due to airline complications, I found myself with a day alone in Kigali. Being a woman alone in a strange city can be a little scary, so it was nice to find a woman guide
thank you so much too book tour with me i had amazing day with you
Aline's tour was fun, exciting and showed us some really lovely art galleries in Kigali as well as crafts and a market. Would highly recommend Aline as a tour guide she is a lovely person and made us feel safe and at home..
thanks 🥰it’s was nice to be with you
Aline’s art tour was one of the best experiences I had in Kigali! I love art, colors, and talking with artists about their inspiration. This tour gave me all that and more. Aline has a gift for making you feel like a local, taking you beyond the usual spots. I left feeling inspired, connected, and full of creative energy. If you love art and want to experience Kigali’s vibrant scene in an authentic way or you are looking for an interesting art piece, don’t miss this!
