This supposed tour offer is merely a driving service. For the service offered, it is completely overpriced. The driver just drops you off at the sights, no explanation, no tips, nothing at all. Everything has to be paid for separately, admission, food. Only 200 Baht for the NP guide were included. Our driver was local, our hotel too, only 15 min away from the entrance. The price would be OK for the transfer to and from Bangkok, locally a rip-off. The second star is only for the otherwise friendly driver, who unfortunately also spoke almost no English. I can only advise against it. The NP is worth seeing.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that this experience is listed as a private transportation/charter service, not a guided tour with a licensed tour guide. On the product page, the included services are air-conditioned vehicle, private transportation, and park ranger support, while tour guide service, attraction tickets, and meals are listed as not included. The price reflects a reserved private vehicle, driver availability, coordination, and service for the booked date. We understand that guests staying near Khao Yai may view the value differently from guests traveling from Bangkok, and we will continue reviewing the wording to make the service type even clearer for future travelers. We are glad you found the driver friendly and that you enjoyed Khao Yai National Park. Thank you again for your comments.
It was a lovely experiences, waterfalls are really nice. Enjoyed trekking together with ranger, he was very helpful although it was a little difficult to understand his english
Wat is a great guide. He was on time, friendly, organized and knowledgeable and just an all around cool and friendly person to spend a day with. His truck is brand new and in excellent condition which was great on the long ride through Bagkok’s traffic to get to the park. Highly recommend.
This was a great way to get to experience Khao Yai, coming from Bangkok. We had a private (yes, just my partner and I) escort Bangkok <-> Khao Yai National Park to get to experience one of the most amazing national parks in Thailand. Our driver, Pana, was perfectly on time, met us at our hotel, and communicated with us over Whatsapp prior to meeting. His car was comfortable, clean, safe, and perfect for the two of us and our stuff. He allowed us to put on our own music for the journey, and we were able to communicate with him through Google Translate as necessary about the plan, or anything else during our trip. It was about a 2-3 hr drive from Chinatown to Khao Yai, and we stopped at the major waterfalls with a decent amount of time at each so we could hike, explore a bit, get lunch, and meet with a park guide/ranger for a tour through the jungle. Everything from driving route (+tolls), lunch stop, tour guide organization, and schedule were handled by him. He was very friendly, personable, and accommodating to our needs. He really made the trip and experience great!
If you don’t have enough time to visit Khao Yai National Park for several days, this is a great tour to book. The driver was quick, safe, and friendly, and you still get to see some of the park’s highlights.
Thank you Mr.Wat for an exceptional service, everything was perfect. Also our ranger (sorry I forgot his name) was very helpful and make sure our trip is safe.
