Tour was canceled after driving 2 1/2 hours from Anchorage. There were no other options that day. But we did get a full refund.
This six hour cruise didn't disappoint! We ventured into only areas accessible by boat...the landscape was amazing. We saw many animals in their natural habitat to include humpback whales, fin whales, Sea otters, sea lions, mountain goats, puffin birds and turtles! Our guide was very enthusiastic and really worked hard to share as much scenery and wildlife as the time would allow. The tidewater glacier was absolutely outstanding. Additionally, we also saw some calfing occur. I now know the difference between arctic glaciers and tidewater glaciers! Spoiler alert! Home made warm chocolate chip cookies were served at the end as we returned to the Seward port!
Great crew. They were friendly and professional. We were able to experience an abundance of wildlife! Thank you.
What a fun day trip! The day count have been better, the sun was out. Lots of wildlife around and the crew very nice and informative.
Our family of 4 (including 2 teen boys) immensely enjoyed this 6 hour tour. Since animal sightings aren't guaranteed, I tried to manage my expectations. But man, we saw the most amazing wildlife! Sea otters, sea lions, harbor seals, porpoises swimming next to the boat, a pretty big family of orcas (about 10-12, including calves!), puffins, and even 2 longback whales. The crew was on a mission to find wildlife for us, and they certainly delivered! The guides were really informative and gave interesting facts and history at a good pace, but didn't talk the entire time, allowing us to enjoy the scenery and each other's company. Naturalists were available around the ship and even though they've probably scene the same animals and scenery so many times, they were still excited. We also got an up-close look at a glacier with tons of harbor seals relaxing in front. So amazing. One of my kids got a little seasick at rhe beginning, and the crew was really attentive, making sure he was okay and giving my ginger ale. This cruise was all around attentive and fantastic; highly recommend!
It was awesome!! Saw Orca and fin whales. Puffins, harbor seals and sea lions.
We had an excellent trip. We had a beautiful day. The sun was out and the waves were big. We saw so many beautiful animals and birds. This was definitely a highlight.

This experience was truly amazing! I saw Finn whales, humpback whales sea lions seals, puffins , orcas, and beautiful scenery
Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re so glad you had such an amazing experience and were able to see so much incredible wildlife. What a fantastic day on the water!
The glacier and wildlife was awesome! Very disappointed we had to stand or sit outside in the mist the whole time. The crew left people standing or outside without asking people to scoot together. Lot of 6 seat booths with 4 people in them . People shouldn’t be that rude but the crew shouldn’t allow it!
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the glacier and wildlife, but we’re sorry the seating situation impacted your experience. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will share your concerns with the crew.
