We spent an entire day with Laka and the tour was AMAZING! Laka is the perfect local guide, funny and kind, and speaks great english; we visited eight wonderful places with his Tuk-tuk (temples, buddah status, wood carving shop, tea factory, etc...) and he explains every details and knows a lot about typical places and wonderful spots. For lunch we had and amazing (and cheap!) experience eating a lot of tasty dishes in a local market in Kandy 😋 And Lanka also helped us to arrange our next transfer to Nuwara Eliya! Thanks for all Laka, we Hope to meet you again!!🖤🙏
We did a half-day tour and could not have asked for better. The driver is extremely competent, professional, and passionate: he knows the history of Kandy's monuments in minute detail and offers truly interesting insights into Buddhist culture and local traditions. Thanks to Sajim for this exceptional day. We had an excellent time and are very happy to have been able to discover the city of Kandy in its entirety and to have been able to understand its history. Sajim has perfect English and a sense of humor that made us have a very good time even outside of the tours. Thanks again for that, the day went by very quickly and we are leaving Kandy with a huge amount of memories! Thank you also for helping us discover local, more typical things. Sajim made sure to have us experience things that were worth their price. And when I mentioned wanting to taste mangosteen, it became a mission and we ended up finding some, and at a good price thanks to Sajim! I promise Sajim I will try durian one day..😂

I can recommend the city tour in Kandy with Laka to everyone; we were out for 6 hours today and saw a lot of the city that we would have surely missed otherwise! Laka is a very pleasant and accommodating person who entertained us all day with fun facts and knowledge about the city and its traditions. All in all, 10/10; I would recommend it anytime! If we had had one more day, we surely would have done the tour to Sigiriya as well!
