Ichi, our guide, was considerate and thorough. The route and sights were well curated and thoughtful. This was a complete tour of Kamakura via bikes. It was a super fun way to cover all the sights. Ebikes, a bonus! Highly recommend.
The best gide on the bike in the rain. Speaks good english. And tell nice story's about the place and culture. We have seen a lot of Kamakura.
Our tour guide Ichi did an amazing job explaining the complex history of Japan in a concise way while giving interesting details about the significance of the Bakufu, which started in Kamakura. The tour included very popular spots like the Great Buddha and Hokokuji. It also took us to other parts of Kamakura that I would not have explored on my own. It was fascinating, and I would say this is a must-do when traveling to Kamakura!
I had the most incredible experience on the private bike tour in Kamakura with my friends. The tour was truly unforgettable. Our guide was exceptional, adding a layer of depth and knowledge to the rich history of Kamakura. Bonus, he is bilingual in English and Japanese! Exploring the historical wonders of Kamakura on a bike tour was a unique adventure. What I loved most about this tour was the flexibility it offered. We could choose our preferred mode of exploration and adjust our schedule within the tour's timeframe to match our interests but still covered so many spots we wanted to check out and experience. The guide took many photos of us as we explored, which was awesome. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to dive deep into Kamakura's heritage and experience its beauty up close and have fun!
Ichiro planned an amazing day for us in Kamakura, where we saw the beauty of temples and shrines in the central to eastern areas. We visited the Hachimangu Shrine, Egara-Tenjin, Hokokuji, and then the Hase area with Hase Temple and the Buddha statue. Our tour guide was exceptional; he covered all the sites of our interest and provided us with really interesting information. He was also very flexible and attentive to our needs and interests! Ask Ichiro anything if you are having this tour, and we highly recommend it!
We had a wonderful half-day with Ichiro, and I highly recommend him and this tour! It worked well both for me as a Japanese person and for my friend from Australia who was visiting. I had visited Daibutsu (the Buddha statue) and Hachimangu before, but I had never visited Hokokuji and other spots. I learned so much new information about Kamakura (even as a Japanese person)!
This walking tour was the best decision we made in Kamakura! I booked it for an old friend who was visiting Japan for the first time, and I decided to explore Kamakura with her. Ichi's knowledge of the area, combined with his experience as a rickshaw tour guide, made the tour exceptional! We took over 20 photos, and they all look amazing!
It was amazing. The guide was funny and friendly, knows the area very well, also proficient in English. He showed us some less known but magnificent spots in Kamakura. having not many other visitors, we enjoyed the scenery very much.
This tour was my favorite part of my one-month visit to Japan! Ichi is an amazing storyteller and did not skimp out in giving detailed explanations and insider stories about Kamakura's landmarks, which made me appreciate the culture, religion, and history despite it being my third time in Japan. The tour was unforgettable! We also had super delicious Japanese Soba lunch! I will definitely recommend Ichi’s trip to my friends back home. Thank you Ichi! Hope to go on your tour again one day :)
Seeing a city like Kamakura on a bike is definitely an eye opener. The tour guide is awesome and quite knowledgeable not only about Kamakura but also about Japanese customs and traditions. We went with a group of three friends and we all enjoyed the trip and it was worth the money! Thank you!!
