Great mangrove tour, recommended!

This tour and the JungleWalla is highly recommended. We initially booked the wrong tour (with snorkeling) but were able to change to the geopark tour on the same day. Communication via WhatsApp was smooth with our guide Ain. She turned out to be a great host, knowledgeable guide and good photographer. Thanks for everything! The tour was very pleasant since we booked a private boat for our family with 2 small kids. This gives them space to move around a bit because 2,5 hours can be long for the young ones. We saw many great views and animals and are happy with the whole experience. The good thing about this company is that they respect the beautiful nature and do not feed the animals to get them closer. That’s why we chose them. One attention point: we booked directly on their site for the next day. The site lets you select the date and you need to make the payment directly. The next day we got a WhatsApp from the operator to say this date (so that same day) was actually fully booked, as well as the next. So if we could change to 2 days later. For is this was no issue, but if your planning is not that flexible, I recommend getting in touch with them first to check availability. The site does not accurately reflect this.

Finding a sustainable balance between human and animal ecosystems

Today's introduction is "Ain", first of all to thank her in the morning when it rains, to constantly confirm whether the cancellation or change of date due to the rain, afterwards proves that there is no change or cancellation due to the weather (after gradually clearing), really was one of the best decisions and experiences of this trip in Lancashire! This tour introduces us to the red forest and local ecosystems, and understands that behind the popular eagle feeding show in Lancashire, there is a negative impact on the eagle itself, the local ecological chain, and even the nearby farmers. Although the single look price will find a bit more expensive than the prices offered by other shipbuilders, the services provided by JungleWalla, with ecological concepts and philosophies, even the boatman carefully keeps distance from white dolphins, respect and caring without interference, etc., are completely worth the price, no, it can even be said that it is worth it! We also look forward to more people choosing to participate in the activities organized by JungleWalla, so that we can take care of the nature and animals together.

Essential excursion through the mangroves

An excursion that you must not miss. The mangroves are spectacular along with the diversity of wildlife that you get to see. The guide, Masyi, is very knowledgeable about the area and explains the curiosities of each place in detail.

10/10

I could not praise our guide Masiyitah and the captain more. We had a fantastic morning exploring the mangroves and surrounding areas. Our guide was knowledgable and engaging and answered all of our questions. Junglewalla provide an ethical tour with no animal feeding and promoting respect for nature. All in all a 10/10 from us and great value for money.

Eco friendly

Fantastic experience! We received a very engaging and knowledgeable explanation from the guide. For us, the ecological aspect was very important: without feeding the animals, we were able to admire them all in their natural environment.

Fantastic mangrove tour with JungleWalla and guide Jien

We had a fantastic experience on JungleWalla’s UNESCO Geopark Mangrove Tour. Everything was well organised from start to finish, and the tour absolutely deserves five stars. Our guide, Jien, was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very friendly. He explained the unique geology, wildlife and mangrove ecosystem in an engaging way and was always happy to answer our questions. His passion for the area made the experience even more memorable. The boat was comfortable and well maintained, and our captain was skilled and professional. We felt safe throughout the tour, including while navigating the narrower waterways. The scenery was spectacular: dramatic limestone cliffs, peaceful mangrove forests and beautiful views across the water. We also appreciated the respectful approach to nature and wildlife. A wonderful way to discover Langkawi’s UNESCO Global Geopark. Highly recommended!

Great experience with an operator who respects nature

We had a wonderful and very interesting tour. Our guide Ayra was great and she told us a lot about the mangroves and the Geopark. We highly recommend this tour operater. Especially because they don‘t feed wildlife and respect the wildlife in their natural habitat. Not like all the other tour operators who treat real nature like they are in a Zoo. Just for the pleasure of the guests. So if you are really interestet in nature and this beautiful area, please book your tour at JungleWalla.
