After we arrive at Istiqlal mosque we can do some pictures of mosque and Cathedral at outside. Istiqlal also called Independence mosque which is the largest mosque in Southeast Asia and the 9th largest mosque in the world in terms of worshiper capacity. after finished proceed to across the street on one hands off most experience then visit the old church.
After we arrived at Church then we just take some photos out side or we can visit while you can see the design of Cathedral in Jakarta. Cathedral is one of the old church standing before the mosque, so the area has in a story since Dutch era. This is neo-gothic church was consecrated in 1901 having been rebuilt at same location. The Jakarta cathedral is located near Merdeka square, presidential palace and in front of istiqlal mosque. we visiting in one step then continue for sightseeing and photostop at monument.
After cathedral proceed to china town, we pass by the president palace then we stop for photo of monument. The national monument is a 132m as the obelisk in the centre Merdeka square, symbolizing the fight for Indonesia and built to commemorate the struggle Indonesia independence and as the landmark of capital of indonesia. Selamat Datang Monument (Selamat Datang is Indonesian for "Welcome"), also known as the Monumen Bundaran HI or Monumen Bunderan HI ( for 'Hotel Indonesia roundabout'), is a monument located in Central Jakarta, Indonesia. Completed in 1962 by sculptor Edhi Sunarso, the Selamat Datang Monument is one of the historic landmarks of Jakarta. then still continue to northern Jakarta as historical basic. One of building used for puppet studio is one of nice attraction to see how to make puppet and playing in 9 minutes shows if you still have time. if you are interested to have good souvenirs.
Arriving the Old harbour is not so far from old town, in it is the traders and sailors first come to city and melting and colonize. This is a biggest and old harbour in 15 century dominated by Asian ethnic before european. then this harbour is still active for logistic trading transport with the old boat Phinisi. Then this is the last program in 15 minutes back to hotel 45 minutes - 1 hour

Best way to get to know Jakarta, as exploring Jakarta yourself is quite a challenge (eg because of heavy traffic, distances between places of interest). Our guide Ivan and driver showed us very interesting places in a short time, gave clear explanations and also regularly suggested to take pictures of us. Really recommended excusal!!!

Ine our guide was so lovely. She met us at the airport after a long flight from the UK to start our tour. We visited some nice landmarks in around 4hrs and was then dropped at our accommodation. This tour is excellent if you only have a short space of time. Highly recommend.

We had a very nice tour through New Year's Jakarta. Our guide Siti was very enthusiastic and super sweet. She spoke super good English and has told us a lot and given us tips. Our driver Pak Selamet was very good. He drove us safely through the busy and chaotic traffic of Jakarta. A good alternative if you don't wish to or have time for a full day tour. You get to see the highlights of the famous buildings/landmarks in Jakarta. But do let the guide know if you have any appointments after as the "macets"(traffic jams) can really cut into the travel time of getting from place to place and end up extending the trip duration. Otherwise driver and tour guide were both good in what they do, careful and skillful driving by Cek Man and guide Ivan is friendly, helpful and informative. They're both flexible so let them know if you have any concerns!

Great intro to many physical and cultural aspects of the city - old and new areas, history, mosque and cathedral, puppet making demonstration. Our guide Gibran set a relaxed flexible pace (it was pretty hot!) and was very knowledgeable. There were many points of interest and photo opportunities.
