Istanbul Turkish Coffee Making & Fortune Telling Workshop

Petek was such a wonderful teacher! She is a local, and knows so much about Istanbul, Turkey, and coffee. I learned so much from her, and she had such a wonderful personality. I would take this class again in a heartbeat. Perfect English, so kind, and very funny. 10/10 all day!

We did this activity as a family (mom, dad, and 2 kids) and absolutely loved it. We learned a lot about Turkish coffee, and the fortune telling was a very fun and entertaining group experience. Our instructor was engaging, kind, and welcoming. They even give you Turkish coffee cup and saucer set which looks very cute. This class was one of the highlights of our Istanbul trip, and I definitely recommend it! They offer other classes too, and you get a discount for booking more classes. I wish I would have known that sooner so I could’ve booked more classes with the same company. Overall a wonderful experience!

This was such a wonderful experience if you like coffee. Patek is a natural teacher and did a wonderful job explaining not only how to make it, but also the history behind the tradition. I highly recommend this coffee workshop. It was definitely a highlight of my trip!!

This experience was so fun! Petek was an amazing coffee guide and easy to talk to. She understood all of our questions and answered them well. The whole coffee making experience was so fun and it was, of course, delicious!

Tricky to get to the building but the businesses around helped us. Stairs are hidden. A good background about Turkish coffee. The instructor was friendly and knowledgeable. We were given a porcelain cup and saucer and we didn’t expect that.

I had such an amazing time with Petek. She was so knowledgeable and so fun. I highly recommend this to everyone who has a bit of time to learn and just have a little fun with fortune telling. Don't need to believe in it but you must just leave with a fun new look on life.

Amazing workshop led by Petek! You do not only learn how to make traditional turkish coffee, but also learn a lot about the history and traditions around it. At the end you even get your own cup to take home. Great experience and lovely workshop!
