The tour starts in Taksim Square, a must see site in Istanbul, you'll start at The Republic Monument, it was unveiled in nineteen twenty eight, and tells the story of how modern Turkey was born after the War of Independence.
The Hagia Triada, meaning "Holy Trinity," is the largest Greek Orthodox church in all of Istanbul. Its emerald domes and brilliant mosaics were raised at a time when Istanbul was quite different—Greeks, Armenians, Jews, and Muslims all shared the city as neighbors.
