Istanbul Aquarium is one of the largest thematic aquariums in Europe and a true gem of Istanbul. It is located in the modern Florya district, near the shores of the Marmara Sea. Covering a total area of 22,000 m², the aquarium offers visitors a unique marine journey through 17 themed zones, representing different regions of the world — from the tropical rainforests of South America to the coasts of the Black Sea. The aquarium is home to more than 1,500 species of marine and freshwater creatures, with a total of over 15,000 animals. Visitors can see sharks, rays, jellyfish, rare reptiles, and colorful tropical fish up close. Reception and excellent agency services... so much courtesy and helpfulness .. the aquarium as a whole nn is great but it is still a place to visit then immediately next door there is a huge shopping center but... attention nn there is nothing counterfeit indeed for those who love luxury is the top!
My family really enjoyed the 3hours Instanbul Aquarium tour. Those with kids are recomended. Many exotic spicies of fishes, sharks and cute penguins too. Just sufficient time to have about 45 minutes lunch break with magnificent view by the sea! Though wont have enough time to shop by the mall due to timing of the tour but its ok. Glad that we include this short tour after few days of long walking tour in Instanbul.
