Island City ECO Paddle and Lesson to 9.3 Acre Nature Preserve

We were looking for something fun to do on vacation and this was suggested through our Airbnb. We booked the 2 hour guided kayak tour and had a wonderful time. The instructor was very helpful and informative. Our rental equipment was very clean and in good condition. We will definitely book again if in the area.

Really fun day with small group and a good paddling instructor. I do wish the guide would have known and shared more about the flora and fauna on the trip.

Just finished my second tour with Sunrise Paddleboards, and it was even better than the first! The guides are awesome—super friendly, professional, and they make the whole experience a blast from start to finish. If you’re looking for a fun outdoor adventure while you’re in Fort Lauderdale, this is an absolute must-do. Highly recommend!

We heard great things about Sunrise Paddleboard. We booked an early morning lesson and tour. Our instructor was Kent. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and explained how to maneuver on the paddle board. He took us on an eco tour and also got to see some beautiful homes along the way. What a fun filled day. This was definitely a great experience. I am hooked, I will definitely be booking another paddle board session soon.

The trip was great! Alicia took us and she was easygoing, understanding and friendly. She took pics of us We took our 8 and 13 yo and they loved it too.

The guys at Sunrise Paddle are awesome! Booking was easy and the staff on the day of the tour were extremely friendly and accommodating for a first-timer. I highly recommend them and will tour with them again.

This was a great tour. Courtney was awesome and took photos for us free of charge. She was very knowledgeable and great conversation. We even saw a raccoon in the mangroves which was cool. Definitely something we would do again. Thank you.

We went on the Saturday before mothers day. We were in the guided tour of the mangro trees for beginners. We did get a short lesson before heading out with our group and then we were off on our adventur. Maybe half way through the guided tour we got separated from the group. We knew that they had to be close so we paddled up around the bend. No one was there, WE WERE LOST! Now we were all basically beginners so we didn't know what to do, we just kept on the path and hit many dead ends and then we ended up in a not so nice part of town (Looking at the houses and trash in that area). I was starting to get scared. We ended up turning ourselves around and went back the exact way we had started from. We did finally got to a nicer neighborhood and saw a very nice lady on her dock. We explained everything and she let us use her phone to call the office for help. The gentleman that we were talking to said everyone else including our guided had finished awhile ago and left to go home. He never said wait there and we will come get you or send help. He know the exact address because the lady who was letting us use her phone told him it. We ended up finally making our way back to the start, but the 3 hour tour took us an extra hour and half. Very disappointed and kinda angry that they would leave paying tourist behind and not even bother to go out looking for them. This is a horrible accident waiting to happen, somebody is really going to get hurt if this is the way they take care of their clients 😢

Had a great time. We had beautiful weather this time of year. Sarah was an excellent tour guide. We went with kayaks, but I'll try paddle boards next time.
