We had an amazing night at the cozy cabin. Tracy and her team provided wonderful hospitality and a very warm welcome. The staff also checked for the northern lights from time to time and kept us updated, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended if you're looking for a great aurora viewing experience.
We just spent two nights at the cozy cabin and we had the best time ! The experience is unique and amazing. Staying warm by the fire place waiting for the northern lights to come, wearing nice warm coats, having the delicious midnight lunch and Tracy is a great host who makes you feel at home. She knows so much about Yellowknife and recommended us so many great places and restaurants, our trip wouldn’t have been so perfect without her advices. We only stayed for 3 days but we’ll definitely come back and book more tours with Tracy !
You don’t need to chase the aurora—this fixed setup is the way to go. Amazing hospitality, a true local guide, and a cosy setup with a warm cabin, deck chairs, and a fire pit outside. It’s such a relaxing way to experience the northern lights when they appear. This was far better than the two bus tours we did. Highly recommend. Cesar was awesome and took great photos too. Tracy, the owner, is such a character—truly one in a million. The highlight was getting to know a local and enjoying the Aurora from one location- not chasing her.
Such a fun and interactive night. We are so grateful for the incredible company and time spent at the cozy cabin! Oh ya- the aurora was awesome icing on the cake! Or should I say... Bannock!
It is an extraordinary experience and the attention, service and attitude of the guides was great she Korean and the Arab guy. Very attentive, great dinner and the indescribable auroras. An activity to do once in a lifetime.
Warm and friendly welcome. Tracy was friendly and very kind, she knows the area very well and tells us lots of anecdotes.
Absolutely unforgettable aurora tour in Yellowknife! From start to finish, the experience was incredible. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about making sure everyone had the best chance to see the Northern Lights. We headed out to a cozy little cabin away from the city lights, which made the whole experience feel magical and peaceful. While we waited for the aurora to appear, they served warm, homemade soup and freshly made bannock that was honestly some of the best comfort food I’ve ever had. Sitting by the woodstove, enjoying delicious food, and sharing stories with other travelers made the night feel so special. We even played a nice game of cards. And then the lights came out—bright, dancing across the sky in waves of green. The guides helped us with photos and made sure everyone got the chance to enjoy the moment. If you’re thinking about seeing the Northern Lights in Yellowknife, this is absolutely the tour to book. Cozy cabin, amazing food, wonderful people, and a breathtaking aurora show. Truly a night I’ll never forget!
Fantastic trip!! We got to the cabin and the Aurora Boreal exploded in its colors and movements. Our guide Yumi is very friendly, efficient, took beautiful photos of our family. Dinner was delicious, bread made on time, hot with butter and jelly very tasty! We win up to the recipe. The tour is very worth it, warm cabin to warm us up, with jackets and leather hats to take special photos, with the Aurora Boreal background ❤️
I had the pleasure of experiencing this tour for two nights, and luckily on the second night Lady Aurora finally graced us with her presence for a short while. The cabin was indeed cozy with it's fresh soup and bannock bread, plus there are plenty of board/card games (Jenga, Uno, etc.) to play amongst the group.
We did the city tour with Tracy and it was such a special way to start our trip. Tracy is the owner and she is so incredibly knowledgeable about Yellowknife. You can tell she truly loves this town and she shared so many interesting stories that made the history feel real. It didn't feel like a standard tour at all but more like a friend showing us around her home. She is such an amazing person and made us feel so welcome from the very start. I am so glad we got to see the city through her eyes.
Thank You kindly, I am humbled by your kind words. I truly do Love the North and Yellowknife. So appreciate this wonderful review. Tracy
