After pick-up at your hotel, you will be driven to the world-famous Iguazu National Park, located on the Argentine side of the falls. Keep your eyes opened: You may spot some wildlife on the surrounding subtropical forest (toucans, parrots and coatis, just to name a few!)
Iguazu Falls are one of the most spectacular natural attractions in South America and the world: they were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO! Upon arrival, you will show your entrance ticket and enter the park (entrance fee not included).
Next up, ride on an ecological train through the Iguazu rainforest to access the viewing platform that overlooks the impressive Devil’s Throat, the most important and most imposing waterfall of all. You will not cease to be amazed by the force of millions of litres of water falling at different heights! ** In case there are many people in the train to go to The Devil’s Throat, you will try to go first to less crowded places.
After touring “Garganta del Diablo” (Devil’s Throat), you will continue to explore the walkways of either the lower or the upper circuit accompained by a local specialized guide. Both of them are sure to impress you: The LOWER CIRCUIT, feature a more intimate experience with nature as you walk right into the forest to the heart of the falls, you will be able to feel the “spirit” of the jungle; its humidity, sounds and aromas. The UPPER CIRCUIT provides magnificent panoramic views from the top of the falls. This circuit is the perfect place to kick back and relax with the sound of water in the background and sunlight on your skin. The elevated walkways will take you over the drop line of several of the main jumps. Are you hungry? You will have some free time to have lunch (lunch not included).
After touring the circuits, set off in an open-air truck through the lush tropical forest accompanied by a bilingual guide and then descend the stairs leading to the pier. Now, the moment you have been waiting for: Embark on an unforgettable boat adventure! Get up close to Tres Mosqueteros falls and enjoy amazing Devil’s Throat views crowning the canyon. To further add to your adrenaline, face the incomparable San Martín fall, the second biggest of all! Needless to say, you will get soaked! **You will navigate 6km (2 km of rapids).** Please check the restriction list below to verify you can embark on this adventure. **Boat ride may be affected by too low or too high river level (may occur about twice a year).
After enjoying the final views of the day, we will drive you back to your hotel in Puerto Iguazu. **The order of the itinerary is subject to change due to conditions of an operational nature. Your guide will decide which circuit should be visited first to avoid long lines and major crowds. **Schedules may vary according to weather, traffic, etc.

Pick-up from hotel in Puerto Iguazu downtown is included. If your hotel is not listed, please provide its name when booking in the 'Special Requirements' box. If you are staying at an Airbnb or away from downtown, please let us know the address. If your accommodation is far away or difficult for the bus vehicle to access, we will inform you if we will schedule a meeting point or if we need to quote an extra transfer. Pick-up from Foz do Iguacu Downtown is NOT included and in this case, we will provide a quotation for an additional transfer service.

- The Boat Ride company’s staff members reserve the right to determine your aptitude to access the attraction and may refuse you access to it. Say Hueque is exempt from any responsibility pertaining to this point.
- Please check the Boat Ride restrictions before booking. In case you can not embark the boat ride, no refund will be allowed.
- Boat ride may be affected by too low or too high river level (may occur about twice a year). In this case you may be offered an alternative sail or given a partial refund.
- The boat to the falls can seat up to roughly 45 passengers
- Pick-up time is subject to change
- To participate in the 'Great Adventure' Boat Ride, each passenger must bring their passports with them. The company staff's members may require this documentation.
- During the Christmas and New Year season, the tour may consist of groups of up to 40 passengers due to high demand.
- Due to preventive safety protocols associated with seasonal El Niño weather patterns, public access + train ride to the Devil’s Throat circuit has been temporarily paused to safeguard park infrastructure. The majority of Iguazú National Park remains open, safe, and fully operational.
- People with physical, cognitive and/or sensory disabilities who cannot respond to an eventual emergency can not embark the Boat
- People with back problems or back history, motor disability and/or osteoporosis can not embark the Boat
- People with chronic lung diseases can not embark the Boat
- People with heart history or neurological disorders can not embark the Boat
- People with kidney history can not embark the Boat
- People with blindness, deafness and/or muteness can not embark the Boat
- People with morbid obesity can not embark the Boat
- Insulin dependent people can not embark the Boat

Problem was, the description did not mention that we would be walking the upper and lower circuits, at all. I had just done that on my own the day before. So really all I experienced different from the day before was the boat. There was also organized bus, whereas I'd done public bus day before. The train did not happen as Devil's Throat is closed. The guide was lovely but mostly just organized a bunch of ferrel cats. Not worth the price at all.
Fantastic waterfalls, but totally unnecessary to spend a lot of money on this 'tour'. All 'features' are also for sale in the park and outside the season, this seems to be fine in terms of crowds. When you book the boat, it's a good idea to bring a set of dry clothes, or rather - a set of clothes specifically for getting wet. The guide was very nice but brought little knowledge about the location.

We begrijpen dat reizigers die graag alles zelfstandig regelen het park ook op eigen gelegenheid kunnen bezoeken. Het doel van onze tour is vooral om de volledige logistiek te verzorgen en de verschillende onderdelen — vervoer vanaf het hotel, begeleiding in het park, trein, safari en boottocht — op één dag te coördineren, zodat reizigers zich daar geen zorgen over hoeven te maken. Tegelijkertijd vinden we het jammer om te horen dat de uitleg van de gids niet de inhoudelijke meerwaarde bood die je verwachtte. Die feedback nemen we zeker mee. En een extra set droge kleding voor de boottocht is inderdaad een uitstekende tip! Bedankt voor je eerlijke feedback en voor je bezoek aan Iguazú.
It is a good experience, but expensive. Our guide Sergio Martyn was wonderful and Viator's customer service was too. I give the experience a four instead of a five because I thought it was expensive. But I give Sergio an excellent!

Great adventure in Iguazu. Going during the winter months were great as the crowds were very low. The falls are beautiful. This tour picked us up at the hotel and got us right to the Park. Our guide, Jorge, was very knowledgeable and kept the tour moving at a great pace. The boat ride is the best part - you get right up close, and under. You will be soaked, but that makes it all the more fun.

it really takes 9 hrs PLUS! if you book English tour, don't expect the tour to be in English... it was helpful to have all tickets handled, sometimes even jumping the queue. Jorge was very knowledgeable Boat ride was organized well and quickly. Waiting for our bus at end of day took ages...

We joined two other couples in booking a trip with Neotropical Nature and Birding tours, what an amazing two weeks in the Pantanal of Brazil. Santiago took great care of us from beginning to end, and is so knowledgeable about the wildlife we saw and observed. From birds to tapirs to jaguars, it was an unforgettable trip, including a front seat to watching a jaguar take a caiman in the wild! The guide didn’t explain anything and he was in a rush to be done. The mingle people that are doing the boat experience with those that don’t. Guide didn’t explain that if you do the boat tour you will not do the lower circuit.

On some occasions, due to operational reasons beyond our control, the Gran Aventura boat excursion may only operate during the morning. When this happens, guests who have booked the navigation need to complete it during that time, which can modify the usual order of the visit and means the lower circuit cannot also be included. We understand that this should have been explained more clearly during the tour, particularly when separating guests who were taking the boat ride from those who were not. We also regret that the guiding felt rushed and did not provide the level of information you expected.
