Ibiza to Formentera Cruise with Snorkeling, Paella & Open Bar

The content of the listing is not very consistent with the activity: 4 hours in Formentera, a very beautiful cove for swimming with water equipment on board. As for the organization, it is a completely different story. Departure announced at 10:00 AM, we left at 10:30 AM. The paella was served at 6:00 PM! No one announces anything and no information is provided to us during the day. Staff on board not very friendly... disappointing. In the end: departure at 10:30 AM from the port, arrival at 11:15 AM in Formentera for 4 hours, departure at 3:30 PM, arrival at the swimming spot at 4:00 PM, paella served at 6:00 PM, departure from the spot at 6:30 PM, AGAIN A STOP IN FORMENTERA TO PICK UP PASSENGERS!!!, departure at 7:15 PM, arrival at the port at 8:00 PM.

Oh, bad. Awful food, the walks are awful. Worst Paella of life.

It was a cruise to get us from point a to b. Water was choppy so if you get seasick, would recommend a larger boat. There are some spots on the top that you can lay in the sun, but make sure to get in front of the line as those spots are limited. Also, they only have a certain number of snorkels and paddles so you have to get in line first to use it or wait till people return. Paella was great and if you drink it's nice since they have beer and sangria on tap. Alternatively, you can get a speed boat which I saw that's bigger and faster or take the same boat but don't do the snorkeling and paella and you'll save money and go directly to formentera.

100% recommended. The staff was charming, the paella exquisite, it is very rare for such large paellas to be this tasty, the sports area in Cala Saona was great. I would repeat.

We booked this boat trip based on the great reviews on GetYourGuide, but unfortunately our experience was the complete opposite. For £75 per person, we expected a well‑organised, welcoming and enjoyable day. Instead, the trip was chaotic, uncomfortable and handled with a level of unprofessionalism that left our entire group upset. From the start, communication was almost non‑existent. There was no clear explanation of how the day would run, no proper safety briefing, and no effort made to ensure all guests understood what was happening. We were told immediately that we were the only British passengers, and the tone from staff throughout the day made us feel singled out and unwelcome. During the trip, we ordered drinks and once finished we handed over our empty cups to a staff member who was collecting them. Later, when we returned to the bar, we were met by Pepe, whose behaviour was shockingly rude. Before we could even ask for a drink, he told us to wait five minutes while he washed up. We stepped aside as instructed and were happy to wait, only for him to immediately snap “What do you want?” and then contradict himself again by saying he wasn’t finished yet when we answered. He then questioned where our cups were and accused us of lying, claiming we had left them on the floor, something that simply did not happen. When we calmly explained they had already been collected, he continued speaking to us in a patronising and confrontational tone. As we walked away, he singled out one member of our group and called them rude. Later, he even us that it was “someone’s face” in our group that he found rude. This behaviour is completely unacceptable from any staff member, let alone one working in hospitality. When we arrived in Formentera, every other group was given instructions on where to meet and what time to return, except us. Despite knowing we were British, staff only addressed the Italian and Spanish passengers, leaving us with no information at all. The lack of communication and the disrespect shown by staff were so severe that we decided not to travel back on the boat. Instead, we had to spend an additional €109 on ferry tickets to avoid further confrontation and to prevent our last day of the holiday from being ruined. Overall, this trip was a major disappointment. The staff were rude, dismissive and unprofessional. The communication throughout the day was unacceptable. For the price paid, we expected a far better experience. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this boat trip and hope the company addresses these issues.

Perfect organization and very kind and helpful staff.....excellent paella and assistance with everything.....quite attentive to cleanliness.

We did not stop at the agreed location "Cala Saona" and there was also no explanation as to why not. The 3-hour stop lasted 2 hours and was located not far from the harbor in open water. We had indicated 48 hours in advance that we wanted the vegetarian paella and unfortunately it was not prepared, nor was the request answered, as one should give notice 24 hours in advance regarding this. On the return trip it was very crowded, so that you sometimes had to share the loungers upstairs with four people and some guests only had standing room or were already sitting on the side tables.

I can only describe the day we had as amazing, so much attention detail and a fabulous day. Food and drink were great and the trip made our last day very special. Thank you Viator team👍👍
