But that’s not all – the climax of your journey takes place in the heart of a working boutique vineyard. Here, a locally sourced light lunch awaits, elevating your culinary experience amidst the vines. Not all dietary requirements, can be catered for with this light lunch. Your travels don’t finish there. Its off to a local distillery outlet for samples of vodkas and gins. Followed by a visit to the Hunter famous ‘Smelly Deli’ for a local cheese and chocolate shops, try not to fill yourself with all the yummy things to buy before we return you back to your accommodation.

We visit the Hunter Valley Gardens Shopping Village where there are a unique collection of bespoke shops offering everything from delicious meals, lunchtime treats, coffee and wine to stunning glassware and unique clothing. You can chose the visit the distillery/wine cellar door or spend 30 minutes rambling through the many shops for some retail shopping time
Hunter Valley offers many choices for local cheese shops and dairies. The Hunter Valley provides the finest local, Australian and imported Artisan cheese gourmet delights, cured meats and accompaniments, including cheese platters in a box to take away. There are many cheeses and condiments on offer to fill your shopping cart. This is a visit to shop. There may be samples of products on offer for you to try (consume) in the store but this visit is not a paid tasting.
Pokolbin Chocolate Co is a boutique Chocolate shop selling a large variety of Chocolates, Fudge Jams & Teas. Local family owned business for over 21yrs
We stop over at the beautiful country style local cafe to meet Louise and her friendly cheerful staff for approx 45 mins We will enjoy a country style light ploughmans platter lunch (not all dietary catered for, call and ask us) Sit outside on picnic blankets, sit at a table in the sun or under a shade or sit inside in the A.C with summer coming along soon. This is an all weather lunch venue. It is IMPORTANT to note - weekdays if the minimal numbers havent been met to run this tour, the half day with lunch tour will be blended in to another day tour and the lunch venue may be different.

We can collect you from your local hotel, motel, airbnb, tinyhouse within 10km of Pokolbin CBD. My husband and I had an amazing day with Hunter Valley Tours! We joined a tour with a wonderful group of strangers who, by our second cellar door, felt more like friends. Julie was incredibly accommodating and made our last-minute booking so easy, which we really appreciated. David was a fantastic tour guide friendly, knowledgeable, and entertaining. He made the day relaxed, fun, and enjoyable from start to finish. The selection of wineries and distilleries was excellent, giving us a great variety of experiences, and the lunch was absolutely delicious. Really enjoyable experience. Loved Adams Leap the most. Evelyn our driver was so friendly and knowledgeable. It was a 1/2 day tour, but had enough variety. It was a really great day.

I took my parents, who were visiting from Ireland, on the HV Tours mid-day tour with the light lunch, and it was absolutely wonderful. The food was great, the experience was smooth and well organized, and our guide Evelyn was amazing—so warm, knowledgeable, and fun. She made the whole tour unforgettable. Highly recommend!

We had the best time on our full-day tour a few days ago. David was exceptional, very knowledgeable and easygoing and we visited such a range of beautiful vineyards. The van was comfortable, air conditioned and we had ice water to cool us down and keep us hydrated. Hope we can come again and would recommend to anyone!
