Hue Street Food Tour At Night By Scooter

We had a fabulous night zipping around the laneways of Hue with Ly and Anh. They took us to many different places and explained the history of the food in a very interesting way. It was great to go where locals go and experience authentic Vietnamese street food.

We had an absolutely fantastic street food tour with Van and couldn’t recommend it more highly. From the moment we met her, she was incredibly warm, smiley and welcoming, with brilliant English that made everything easy to understand. She was an excellent scooter driver, and we felt completely safe throughout the evening, allowing us to relax and enjoy the experience. The food was outstanding – from delicious local noodle dishes to the most amazing crispy pancakes – every stop introduced us to something new and authentic. What really made the tour special was how much we learned. Van shared fascinating insights into Huế’s history, culture and food traditions, giving us a much deeper appreciation of the city than we could have gained on our own. If you’re visiting Huế, don’t miss this tour. It’s one of the highlights of our trip, and Van is an exceptional guide. Thank you for such a memorable evening!

Enquired directly with the company via Whatsapp and they were super responsive. Had a lovely tour with Hang! Hang picked me up and dropped me off at my hotel. She was a very safe driver and took me to local restaurants across the city. The perks of a bike tour meant that I also got to see the beautiful city between each food stop. Hang spoke wonderful English and provided a lot of info about each dish such as how the dish came about and how to eat it. She even cooked for me at one of the stops! I am a Vietnamese born Australian so am somewhat familiar with vietnamese flavours but still found this tour to be very tasty and knowledgeable. There were quite a few dishes I hadn't come across before, and the ones that I have, it was awesome to hear about the history of the dish. Highly recommend both this tour and Hang!

We loved our food tour with I Love Hue. Great local food spots. Lovely local guides. We often wander around by foot to try stumbling across good local places or look up recommended places, but these were all great local spots we never would have found. And every single stop was delicious. Learning about the dishes, the vendors, and the history behind the food made each stop even more memorable. Riding around the city on the back of a scooter was also a really fun way to get a feel for Hue and see neighbourhoods we might not have explored. Especially on such a short time frame. Hang and Kelly were warm and so easy to spend time with. We’d highly recommend this tour, especially at the start of your stay. You’ll leave with a full stomach, a better understanding of Hue’s food culture, and places you’ll want to come back to.

We were tipped by other travelers of the possibility of a street food tour on scooters in Vietnam. We found out that there was a special one in Hue organized by very friendly ladies of Hue. After an easy booking via WhatsApp the day before. We started perfect on time with very good drivers. The 5 stops at different local places were a good selection of different tastes we all enjoyed and that is not always easy with 2 teenagers. Again one shoutout and big compliment to Hang, Ly, Hanh and Kelly to give us an unforgettable evening in the beautiful town of Hue.

Hang and Van took us on an unforgettable scooter food tour. The food was excellent, and they brought us to several hidden local spots we never would have dared try on our own. You know it’s a truly authentic experience when you’re sitting on tiny stools, surrounded only by locals, eating varied and delicious dishes. The driving felt very safe throughout, and both girls were lovely, welcoming, and shared lots of interesting information about the food and Hue in general. I would highly recommend this tour and would actually consider it a must-do when visiting Hue. It was the highlight of our stay.

Had a great food tour with Lee and Kelly. Were transported smoothly on the back of the scooter from dish to dish, everything equally tasty. Nice that you had to "fold" dishes yourself. We enjoyed it and recommend this tour wholeheartedly!
