Other travelers have talked about the loud engine and inability to hear the recorded commentary. Those are both true. But - if you expect to have a pleasant time looking at the cliffs of Howth, you will have a good time - which is what happened to us. We had the extra plus that when we passed by the island at the end of the trip, three seals were playing in the water. Good thing we’re brought our binoculars, so we had a clear view.
Its was so amazing experience, however please improve on the map, especially for the cruise to dine route
The boat trip was relatively dull. No one said anything personally, just a recording. We saw neither seals nor any other animals.
We appreciate your honest review. If you wish to discuss further with our management team they are available via howthcliffcruises@gmail.com.
Wonderful views of the cliff very smooth process. If you can sit at the back of the boat you will have the best views.
Thanks for joining us onboard.
Just fabulous to way to get the most out of Howth, to see a side of it we don’t know exists when walking around the town. Great info on what we’re seeing from the captain, good bit of humour and such gentle care of vulnerable people. He invited my companion up for a closer look at everything and made sure he left the boat safely. A real personal touch
Thanks for joining us onboard! We hope to welcome you both back with Howth Cliff Cruises in the future.
We had a fantastic little boat trip with Howth Cliff tours today. Ollie was our captain and was just the nicest man. He was full of knowledge and stories and even let my 2 children drive boat a little on way back they were so excited. I highly recommend this tour when visiting howth.
Thank you for your kind feedback. We will pass on your kind words to Captain Ollie & the crew. Hope to welcome you onboard again in the future. Regards, Howth Cliff Cruises.
I really enjoyed the commentary regarding the scenery and observation the cliff trails from the boat!

Thanks for joining us onboard.
The captain of the boat made the trip fun and informative. We would highly recommend the trip if you want to see the cliffs and lighthouse from the water side.
Thanks for joining us onboard.
We did the island tour option and it was really good. Saw wild life and heard about the history. The recorded tour guide was hard to hear, but still worth the tour.
Thank you for sharing your experience!
