This horseback ride is suitable for beginners or experienced riders, alone or in groups. It will allow you to discover nature in its wild state, in the company of our wonderful Barbe / Arabian horses. You can do this ride in group (maximum 5 people) or private.

We did the 3h hike. Very nice beach with hard sand, good horses and we were just the two of us with the guide. Communication with the guide was difficult because he did not speak English or French... but he took plenty of videos and photos. We were mainly on the beach except for the small trail to get there. You can trot and gallop if you feel capable. No instructions from the guide but memorable outing.

I once again had an absolutely wonderful experience with Horse Essaouira! Horses - all stallions - are great and perfectly trained. Guides always know how to choose the one that best suits you. Me, I always do several days of riding during my stay, because for me, it is really THE reason to come back to Essaouira. And with Cheval Essaouira, it’s always a real joy. Horseback riding is fantastic, the scenery is unforgettable, and the beaches offer endless stretches where you can gallop and trot freely. I loved galloping in the forest with Ayoub, as well as Amine’s expertise and professional attention. Thank you too, Amine, for the wonderful memories in photos. Horses are really loved, and Mohamed and his team are always incredibly welcoming, professional and experienced. Thank you again, and I hope to see you soon! Leen/Lena;)

After the Sidi Kaouki trek of 3 days with our group of friends, we made a separate ride of 3 hours, led by Hamza. This outside ride was incredibly cool! It was a varied ride through woods, dunes and over the beach, with great horses. We enjoyed it, thanks Hamza and Cheval Essaouira!

My experience at Cheval Essaouira was honestly shocking. The owner was unbelievably arrogant and completely out of control — yelling, disrespectful, and acting in a way no professional should. The behavior was so aggressive and unprofessional that it ruined the entire visit. I left feeling stressed and appalled. I strongly advise people to stay away from this place.

I went to Morocco for my first solo trip, and I’m so glad I did. I went for a 3-hour trek and a sunset ride(s), and both were absolutely unforgettable. Meeting Mohammed was another highlight — warm, professional, and simply wonderful. He made me feel welcomed and safe from the very first moment. I returned again in the same year because the whole experience felt magical… and the second time was even more so. Mohammed encouraged me to try riding bareback — he gave me just the right amount of courage and spark I needed — and I’ll forever be grateful for that. Thank you so much, Cheval Essaouira.
