Meet our Tour guide at Discova Day Tour Shop before tour start. Your guide will fit your bike, give a safety briefing, and provide an overview of the tour.
The ride soon opens up to peaceful countryside roads lined with coconut palms and vegetable gardens, where locals head to the fields on bicycles. Along the way, your guide shares stories of village life and explains how these communities continue to balance tradition with the changes tourism brings.
Our first stop is a small family kitchen, where bánh bèo (steamed rice cakes) are prepared for breakfast using the traditional method. It’s a simple, delicious insight into daily life in the countryside before we continue riding to one of Hoi An’s most beautiful villages, where we stop at a family home to learn about the tradition of family chapels. From here, the route follows small canals and waterways towards a wooden boat-building site. Fishing remains the lifeblood of the province, and the sight of craftsmen shaping hulls by hand is a highlight for photographers. If the timing is right, you’ll also see families gathered by the shore cleaning their fishing nets between journeys at sea.
Our final stops include a family-run distillery where rice wine is still made in the same way it has been for generations. You’re welcome to sample a glass, or for the adventurous, try the stronger local version infused with herbs! After that, it is time to ride back to Hoi An.

This is a must do ! To really see the true Hoi An and not just the Ancient Town, this is a must do. The people along the way, the family businesses visited the ride through the fields, it was great. The pacing was good also with multiple stops. As a person who rarely ever rides a bicycle the pacing was good. Now, I would recommend not going in the heat like I did. It was over 90s degrees (F) but even still was worth the sweat. The guide was informative and so helpful - paying close attention to the group to ensure we were today. He provided great safety instructions ahead of time which helped with navigating the large group. I think 8 is the right size to ensure you don’t feel overwhelmed or overlooked. All around great part of my Hoi An trip. Definitely recommended!

I loved this tour. As a not very experienced bike rider it was well suited for me. It was such a nice way to experience the Hoi An countryside. It was great to see the stops along the way, a highlight for me was noodle making. Our guide Linh was very knowledgeable and personable and made us feel safe and welcome. Would highly recommend.

We had Tam as our tour guide - he was awesome! The bikes worked well, we stopped at a great coffee shop along the way. We had a lot of fun learning about the family temple, how to make rice products, mats, and the rice wines. The first 10 minutes biking through the city / across the bridge was a little scary (just cause of the traffic, if you're not totally comfortable on a bike this might not be for you).

Great day exploring the country around HoiAn, visiting and seeing some of the traditional villages and crafts. Guide was great. Although it was hot we had plenty of stops and it was very pleasant. Would recommend
