It was a fascinating experience hearing so many stories and learning so much in such a short time; this is definitely a place to visit here in Fort Lauderdale. Our host, Daniel Smith, perfectly complemented our visit, as he possesses vast knowledge regarding the history of the city's founding.

My wife and I flew in a day before our cruise was to start and decided to go exploring part the city on the River Walk. We ran into this museum and decided to go in. We were not disappointed, our your guide David was excellent. Very informative and patient while we peppered him with questions. This listen is a good way to get a feel of the city as it was established and grew into the place it is today. The lovely lady at the front desk, Val, was very gracious as e we explored the museum after closing time. So much info, not enough time. Very nice museum.

I had an Amazing Visit. My family and I were greeted right away by the front desk personnel with warmth and amusement. The tour guide Daniel Smith, was very knowledgeable and gave us more insite into the lives of those who were one of the first pioneers of Ft Lauderdale. The experience of walking through history while Mr Smith spoke felt real and authentic as if we time traveled through history. I'm very grateful for this experience. It is a must do if in area. Please allow for approx 1-2 hrs of touring the hotel (main building) and the other buildings where the tour was held.
