Meet your guide by the Inner Harbour in Downtown Victoria, and then set off on your 1.5 hour walking tour to explore the highlights of Old Town, Bastion Square and Chinatown. History and human drama abound in the area, and as you walk your guide will point out examples of beautiful 1800's architecture.
Victoria is a walker's paradise and because it is a compact city, much historical ground can be covered in a short time.
While Victoria is known as a quaint slice of Olde England, the city certainly has its scandals and dark stories too. In Bastion Square learn about Victoria's many public hangings and how the authorities tried to maintain law and order.
When Victoria was a booming sea port, Johnson Street was our Red Light District.

Great length tour with engaged, knowledgeable guide. We walked past 10 mins after the end and he was still chatting sharing knowledge with some of people on tour even though not all of them tipped :(

Loved this tour! Super knowledgeable and entertaining guide made the city's history jump to life. And what a fascinating history it is. Beautiful walk from the waterfront up through the old city. Our group of 6 could hear all the details about sites along the way with headsets supplied. Highly recommend!

Very nice people wherever we went! Easy to utilize the public trans/ BC buses. Burchart Gardens is a must see for anyone who appreciates plants and gardens! Tea at the Burchart house was fantastic!!
