This tour was perfect for a half day experience providing a fascinating insight into Hungary’s chequered history. Our guide Raymond was very knowledgable and we were enthralled by the stories of the people who shaped Budapest since Roman times and the significance of the wonderful buildings in the Castle area. The inside of the Matthias Church was beautiful and the views across the Danube were breathtaking.

This tour involved an easy medium paced walk. Gabriel did not rush the group. Gabriel provided an historical overview of Hungary’s past. He was knowledgeable about the country’s history and shared many stories that helped us understand the Buda and Pest stories. Our group enjoyed the tour.
We had an excellent, informative tour of Buda with Gabor who was very knowledgeable and engaging. We thoroughly enjoyed walking the quaint streets and hearing all about their past and interesting history. We would have missed this if Gabor hadn’t taken us. Thank you.
