You start your bike tour jumping on the saddle of your bike to head to Piazza Bra where you cannot escape a close encounter with the colossal pink-tinged marble Amphitheatre, the Roman Arena, the city’s legendary open-air Opera House, where you, together with aficionados from all around the world, can live a night of world-class music lit by tens of thousands of cand
Pedal till Porta Borsari, the ancient Roman gate that dates to the 1st century AD, and reach the Market Square, Piazza delle Erbe, once the town’s forum, during the time of the Roman Empire, and now a wonderful open-air market surrounded by historical buildings with frescoes and sculptures.
Back on you bikes but still surrounded by pink floating hearts, you head to the central Medieval Piazza dei Signori e Arche Scaligere, where you admire beautiful buildings and join the vivacious atmosphere of the square before cycling towards the Adige River.
From Brà Molinari you have an amazing view of the city’s river and hills and, after stopping in front of the Duomo and crossing the ancient Roman arch bridge Ponte Pietra, prepare your legs: you leave your bikes for a little while to climb up to Castel San Pietro by a panoramic staircase. Trust us you will be highly rewarded for your little effort by the spectacular ruins of the Roman theatre and by a breathtaking view of Verona.
Cross back over the river on the Scaliger bridge, a fortified bridge built in XIV century and unfortunately destroyed, along with the Ponte Pietra, by the retreating German troops on April 24, 1945, now faithfully rebuilt with original materials. You end your Verona bike tour be with the magnificent Romanesque Basilica di San Zeno Maggiore where a beautiful Mantegna’s masterpiece is shielded.

The bike tour was a fun and different way to see Verona. Our guide, Silvie, was friendly and enthusiastic and patient. We had ten people in the tour with varying biking experience but Silvie took great care of all of us. One of the highlights of the tour was the panoramic view of the city. The tour was an enjoyable way to spend a half day in Verona away from most of the crowds.
Super experience, the guide was very good Give me a good explanation and at a good pace We saw a large part of the city that would have taken us a long time on foot.

I would totally recommend this bike tour throu the streets of Verona. Elisabetta our tour guide was just brilliant. She gave us loads of amazing history facts and showed us many hidden gems. You see so much more than on a walking tour. The bikes are great and very easy to ride. This was an absolute highlight during our time in Verona

It was a v v v hot day and we had considered cancelling the tour but are so glad we didn’t. Silvia took us on great routes, mostly in shade, was so knowledgeable about all the sights and areas we rode through and made the experience a lot of fun. Seeing more of Verona than we would have on foot in the heat actually made sense and with a super friendly guide and another lovely couple from the Netherlands made it a real pleasure. Wonderful x

This was a fun tour! Sylvia was very knowledgeable and took us to some places we probably wouldn't find on our own. She's friendly and engaging. The bikes are super easy to ride and the terrain is pretty flat. Great value! Give it a go, you won't regret it!
