Whale watching trip to Hermanus

The only disappointing thing was we were told that whale watching is not from a boat but by sitting at the Hermanus town . On consulting a number of people at site we were told that not a single whale has been seen there in the recent past. So we had to go go Hermanus Bay and pay $300 for booking 3 adult and one child tickets. Since we had to take the 2 pm boat we missed out on the wine fasting part. But the good thing was we saw a lot of whales and pod of dolphins galore. Cathy was good.

Operator response

Thanks for your honest feedback, and we’re glad you got to experience the whales and dolphins – sounds like an unforgettable sight! We’re really sorry about the confusion with the whale watching. We’ll make sure to give clearer details about this in the future. On a brighter note, it’s great to hear that Cathy was there to make sure you still had a fantastic time! Thanks again for sharing your experience, and we hope to welcome you back for more adventures soon. Warm regards, The FCM Team
