The Margao Cultural Walk is where you explore the oldest and most picturesque parts of Margao, a town donned with vast Goan mansions. We would be visiting one of the oldest churches of Goa which has a lot of mysteries attached to it. We would also be taking you on a journey of how the town was established – from architecturally rich houses holding stories in its details to splendid structures, once crucial for the Portuguese. This trail will help you explore the beautiful lanes & suburbs of Margao on foot that come alive with a local narrating stories and legends of the town with a last stop for some local delicacies. The Margao walk was very enjoyable. Our Guide Medora was very good. Her knowledge of the history and culture of Margao made it very interesting. Definitely recommend this to everyone who wants to learn more about Margao.
I went for Margao heritage walk with Soul Travelling and it was a great experience. I went for the tour with Medora and she explained everything with such great patience and enthusiasm. I really liked walking through the traditional goan houses, tasting goan snacks and sipping on kokam soda.

Medora guided our tour through small lanes of Margoan. She unfolded the history and culture with enthusiasm. We could taste the local delicacies. And had a wonderful time.
One of the highlights of our Goa trip was meeting Pankaj! We were very impressed with his wealth of knowledge and ability to answer all our questions, inane and otherwise :) He was super warm and friendly and helped us with our travel to the bus stand as well. An absolute delight and highly recommended!
We had an amazing experience . Out ambassador Tavanya is such a positive soul, and our walk with her felt just like being shown around by a local friend. She possesses a deep knowledge of her city and its history. Strolling through the neighborhood and seeing the beautiful, historic houses was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Exploring the unique architecture and history really makes you appreciate the legacy of our ancestors. Tavanya also provided great recommendations for nearby spots and took us to some amazing small cafes and bakeries. I highly recommend this walk to anyone looking to understand the significance and the quiet, 'susegad' lifestyle of Madgaon.

We were a group of ten, with our youngest being 10yrs and the eldest 81yrs This had something interesting for everyone. Pankaj did well to manage each ones pace and needs. His stories and facts from history were relevant and engaging. The rains weren't a deterrent to everyones enthusiasm to have a good time.The Chai and food were the icing on the cake. Thank you Pankaj and Soul travel. Your postcard will add to the memories.
