Our guided tour of Helsinki and Suomenlinna was fantastic! Our guide Lily is very knowledgeable about Helsinki and Finland history, making this a very informative and interesting tour. My husband and I were the only guests on the tour so it was a personable experience and gave us an opportunity to ask many questions and learn even more. This is a good way to get a good feel for the city once you arrive. I highly recommend!
I booked our tour a month before and received email confirmation right away. I received another confirmation thru WhatsApp 2 days before the tour. So, it’s highly recommended to upload WhatsApp on your phone as this is their preferred way to communicate. There are about 20 of us in our group. Edward, our guide is very knowledgeable about Helsinki’s history, spoke perfect English and has a great sense of humor. He made everything interesting. We enjoyed this tour very much!
Our tour guides Ed Sheeran (lol) and Daniella were very experienced and knowledgeable. The tour was fantastic
Very information and entertaining.
The tour around the city was fine - it hit the main landmarks. The ferry ride was short. My complaint about this tour was that the walking tour of Suomenlinna was literally three stops, where we stood at each one for about 20 minutes. We did not get much of a 'tour'. The local guide knew a lot of history, but we really didn't see much of the island. Go on your own and wander around.
Good tour. Lovely time at markets, sculpture garden, & ride boat to fortress. Harry was informative & delightful. Was disappointed not to see Olympic Park as stated in Viator and would have liked some time around castle towers to explore.
I was very disappointed with this Helsinki sightseeing tour. The tour felt poorly organized, and the guide was not engaging or informative. There were long periods with little explanation, and some of the attractions were rushed while others took too much time. The overall experience did not meet my expectations, especially considering the price. I expected a more enjoyable and professional introduction to Helsinki. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this tour.
We decided to spend two nights in Helsinki after our trip through the Baltics. It sounded like a great idea to take this tour as an introduction to country culture and history. Terrible! We were up to twenty something People. Very packed running contest from one spot to another. I Will not recommend!
Our group was too big. So it took away from the tour guides ability to inform everyone about the stops/ locations. I believe there were 22 of us, but at least 20.
Great experience! You get a rich experience and history lesson of Finland or Suomi as the locals say
