Itinerary
Start off with a delightful morning tour to romantic Heidelberg. We will visit the Heidelberg Castle ruins high above the valley and landmark of the city. Take a walk through the large, impressing courtyard with its medieval residential buildings. From the large terrace you will enjoy a fantastic panorama view over historic Heidelberg. In the cellar vaults we show you the largest wooden wine barrels worldwide.
On a walking tour through the crooked alleyways of the beautiful old city centre of Heidelberg you will come to see the Karl's Gate and the Old Bridge, the House of the Knights and the Church of the Holy Spirit - to mention only some of the important sights.
We continue our journey to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Germany. On a walking tour through the picturesque alleyways you will come to see the old frameworked houses and the "Plönlein", the landmark of Rothenburg. On over cobblestoned streets alongside the beautifully decorated townhouses of the old center, along the Herren-Alley to the mighty city gates and alongside the accessible citywall.
On to the central marketplace with its mighty Renaissance town hall, and St. Jacobs Church to see the altar of Tilman Riemenschneider, one of the most outstanding artists of the Middle Ages. To see Rothenburg is a journey back in time. And a special place for beautiful souvenirs: wood carvings, glasses, Christmas decorations, beer mugs and even cuckoo clocks. Culinary recommended: the "snowball" of sweet shortcrust pastry.

Wonderful tour, despite the distance between Frankfurt and Rothenburg, two cities that are worth seeing.
Thomas went above and beyond to narrate, assist, take photos for us, and accommodate our every wish. Rothenburg was magical and Heidelberg was enchanting
We had wonderful trip with Peter. He was kind & cooperative and shared all useful info and tips.Everything went on well, Ihighly recommend this trip
Our Guide/Driver, Willy Jahn, was awesome! Great sense of humor, knowledgeable, patient, professional and anticipated our needs.
Our guide was entertaining and well-traveled! We had a great group and easy access to all the good stuff. Food recommendations came in handy, too.
We got a flat tire in the middle of the tour, we did not get to see the second town. The Company has not taken responsibility I would like a refund. We lost the whole day and the response was very slow, no backup plan.
The best thing in the trip is the tour guide he is originally from Croatia. He is kind and nice. We enjoyed the trip because of him.
Both the Medieval towns were beautiful. Walk around the towns were enjoyable. Heidelberg castle walk was nice.
This tour was an awesome experience. Tour guide was easy to find and the tour left on time! The tour guide was awesome! Loved getting trivia and items of interest during the drive. Loved that it was a small tour (8). The tours of Heidelberg and Rothenburg were awesome. Tour with great info combined with some time to explore on our own. Loved both of these locations. Time management during your free time is important. We had specific things we wanted to do in Rothenburg but that didn’t leave me with enough time to have a Bavarian beer. Maybe I should have let my wife go to the largest Christmas store on her own but that may have been an expensive mistake. Oh well. I got my beer (not Bavarian) at Heidelberg. Great experience!
If you don't have a course around Heidelberg, you'll be taken to Rodenberg just before and the price won't change. 2, The Guide in charge passed the time by showing you the countryside district and small churches and Celtic ruins with no schedule guide and no interest. 3, we had lunch at 3:30, and it was eight hours after we left.
