We had Doanh as our tour guide. He was great, very knowledgeable and was more than happy to answer all the questions we had. The food locations we great and gave us a real feel for authentic Vietnamese dishes. Highly recommend adding the train as they take you to the best spot and know the timetable well
We had Jenna as a guide and every single food stop was phenomenal. She was a great guide, extremely talkative and fun to hang around. Got to experience Hanoi cuisine in a way we wouldn’t have figured out ourselves.

Such an amazing experience and a great way to get to know Hanoi and its food on our first day. Learned so much about the history of the city and the food. It was amazing all around and checked all my boxes. Kylie was a fantastic guide and I would recommend her to anyone, she was so personable and shared so much information and good food. 10/10 recommend for a thorough intro to Hanoi.
Me and a friend did this tour our first morning in Hanoi, and it was a perfect way to get introduced into the city and the food. Kylie was our guide and she was so amazing. She knew all about the history of the city and vietnam, as well as guided us through the local cuisine and culture. 10/10 would recommend!
Kylie is a fantastic guide and we enjoyed our first food safari!

We went in a bit of a larger group and had a fantastic food tour with Doanh! He asked us about our experience with Vietnam food so far and took us to some wonderful hidden gems. My favourites were definitely the Pho and the Hidden Gen Cafe at the end. The train street was definitely and experience but everyone had an amazing time and food was absolutely delicious.
Great tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide (John) - food was very tasty and in large supply !
We had a great food tour with Doanh (John), he was knowledgeable and funny. He worked really hard to make sure we got to train street as a train was coming (as there were train delays, this was not easy). The food was really tasty and so much of it (make sure you come hungry). Would highly recommend this tour.
Really great tour! Our guide (Jenna) was fantastic - super friendly, enthusiastic and informative. She asked us about our likes / dislikes and what local food we had tried so far, and tailored the tour so that we could try new things. The food was amazing, we were never waiting for long at all and Jenna was really attentive the whole time. We didn’t book a private tour but ended up just two of us which made it a really special experience. Highly recommended!
