Half Day White Water Rafting on the Zambezi — Livingstone, Zambia

We had a fantastic day rafting the Zambezi River with Maano. The whole team were so good. Pick up was on time then we rafted from Rapid 11 to 25. The hike up and down to the river means you need to be semi fit. Abraham was our raft skipper and was brilliant the whole day, he was experienced and engaging and continually checked we were enjoying the experience. The rapids were great, we managed to flip once but that added to the experience. Lunch at the end of the day was a good way to finish off and chat with the team whole made our whole day so good. Special mention to Abraham and also thanks to Soldier for helping me when we flipped and to Aaron, Abel and Enoch. Would 100% recommend these guys for your rafting trip! What a brilliant day we had.

Had a fantastic experience, thanks to the very capable and professional (and entertaining) Abraham, Soldier and crew. Although I had some initial nerves re the possibility of flipping in class IV and V rapids, they soon disappeared with Abraham's skillful steering and we had a blast without sacrificing the thrills. The scenery was a bonus and we enjoyed traveling through the villages to and from the river. Also, a big Thank You to the photographer, who did a great job capturing all the big moments! We were staying in Zimbabwe, but the pick up and border crossing (the KAZA visa was helpful) went smoothly. Highly recommend Maano!

The hike in and out was a chore — but worth every step to experience everything the river had to offer. Abrahim and his crew were the absolute best. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel the 5* service started— we were escorted through immigration without delay. On the river the crew did everything they could to put my wife at ease about possibly being “dumped overboard”. They navigated the rapids with expert precision.

The crew are very skilled and does the trips a lot so you are in good hands. Its very fun activity. Quite a hike down and back again.

White water rafting the Zambezi River is a must on the list of activities to do at Victoria Falls and this is the company to take you on that adventure. The safety briefing and instructions were clear and thorough. Their equipment was well maintained and the guides very experienced and knowledgeable. Going through the rapids in the gorge was exhilarating. The gorge itself is very beautiful.

Brilliant day with the Maano crew, from pick up to drop off. Even our border crossing was an adventure, but nothing compared to our time on the River. All the right gear, in good condition. Clear safety briefings and all skill levels catered for. Captain Abraham is such a capable and energetic guy. Safety officer Soldier was constantly buzzing around in his kayak. We had a ball. Highly recommended.

We did the half day white water rafting. The experience was fabulous from start to finish. Our crew were Abraham, Albert,Soldier and Serious and they could not have been more helpful and supportive. Fully recommend it to anyone. There was a safety kayak that followed our boat that put us at ease. We stopped at a beautiful sandy beach and saw two small crocodiles and vultures flying over the gorge. The rapids were thrilling and the hike down and up was ok as we were not rushed. We both bought t shirts to remember the experience. Thank you Maano adventures for a great day.

The Half Day Zambezi Whitewater Rafting was an astonishing experience suitable for any type of family. Our guide Andrew made a us feel very safe whilst rafting and made the experience top notch. There safety boats with every raft. Thank you Soldier! Must do activity when in Zambia or Zimbabwe with beautiful views on the hike up and down. Take your passport, Visa and sneakers that can get wet!

Excellent trip. The river was big and the rapids were so exciting. Our guides Thadeus and Abraham made us feel safe. Just a wonderful experience.

We just returned from an awesome experience! We booked same day, and Maano was extremely accommodating. Driver picked us up in fifteen minutes from the time we called. The whole crew demonstrated professionalism with their organisation, knowledge, and personality. They balanced safety with the thrill of the experience. There was never a moment where I felt unsafe. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in Livingstone!
