Al was very knowledgeable...

Al was very knowledgeable and provided great insight into Portugal's history to include the Moors and slavery. This information was omitted from other tours we had during our stay. Although the tour included a coffee in a neighborhood coffee shop and other snacks, it was priced too high. It would have been more appealing if a full meal was included at $141 per person. Make sure to confirm the meeting place and don't rely on the link in the app. The direction link in the app led us to the wrong meeting place. Should confirm details shown online. Others in our party tried to book online and it indicated the tour was full. There were 3 of us. Al was very accommodating. When we told him we wanted to go to Livraria Bertrand bookshop, he ended our tour there instead of the original meeting place as scheduled. Overall, Al was great.

A Lasting Lisbon Experience

This tour was the absolute best! Al was the perfect tour guide but better yet, educator. We learned more in 3 hours than years spent in history classes. Book this tour for an intimate look at Portugal’s robust history.

A must do in Lisbon

Al was fabulous! He is so knowledgeable about the African influence in Portugal. His knowledge of history was impressive. He wove the strands of history together with apparent east. He was friendly with a great sense of humor. He walked at a good pace for my group. We stopped for coffee about halfway through the tour. My group of 5 had a great time
