The Alcázar of Toledo is a stone fortification located in the highest part of Toledo, Spain. Once used as a Roman palace in the 3rd century, it was restored under Charles I (Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor) and his son Philip II of Spain in the 1540s. In 1521, Hernán Cortés was received by Charles I at the Alcázar, following Cortes' conquest of the Aztecs. Most of the alcázar was rebuilt, or restored, between 1939 and 1957 after the Siege of the Alcázar of the Spanish Civil War.
The Primate Cathedral of Saint Mary of Toledo is a Roman Catholic church and it is the seat of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Toledo. (entrance/interior visit is not included) The cathedral of Toledo is one of the three 13th-century High Gothic cathedrals in Spain and is considered, in the opinion of some authorities, to be the magnum opus of the Gothic style in Spain.

All it was was an express bus that cost 25 euros, made a quick stop so you can buy their souvenirs, and then 2 hours on your own and a bus ride home. Kind of hard to be impresses with a bus ride. However, 25 euros seemed to be a good price for a round-trip bus ride.
Our tour guide, Ramano was excellent, spoke with passion and portrayed warmth.
Angie, our guide was won’t. Very knowledgeable about Toledo history, dry friendly as well
I thank the 2 girls as guides Rachel and Tamara
Excellent, super punctual.
Beautiful experience, too bad it was too hot, thanks Rachele
David was our English-speaking guide. He was excellent- very knowledgeable about Toledo as he was from Toledo and knew its history well. His English was good for someone who had only started learning English 7 months before. Angie is also to be commended for her excellent English and general friendliness on the bus rides between Madrid and Toledo. All in all, a good experience. Next time we will take the longer tour to have more time in Toledo.
The experience was worth it and in my opinion very well structured. The guide Raquel was very professional and very pleasant, in addition to conducting the tour in a very clear and enjoyable way. Totally recommended
Experience to do once in a lifetime
It is really worth it. Remember to take a hat and use sunblock. The guide (Ramiro) is very friendly and well prepared. He gives general information about the area and fun details. I enjoyed this trip very much.
