Half Day Tour to Memphis and Sakkara with Entrance Fees

We were so disappointed to find out that GEM still wouldn’t be open for our 3rd trip to Egypt for February that we decided we needed a plan B. After contacting Massimo from Cleopatra Egypt Tours, the decision was made to do a tour to Memphis, Saqqara and Dahshour with them. He was accommodating of our need for a late start due to our jetlag and request to visit the Tombs of the Nobles in Saqqara but not into the pyramids. Our guide Mimo was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and brought the sights we saw to life! He was easy to understand unlike some of the Egyptian guides we had in our two week trip and our driver Said was also very good and a safe driver, weaving his way through the traffic. They even took us for a drive past the unfinished GEM site, to take some photos, which we really appreciated….looks like it won’t be ready for a while still :( Highly recommend you use Cleopatra Egypt Tours, Mimo and Said for your tours in Cairo, we’re so pleased that we did.

We had a great day with Bessem. He is extremely knowledgeable and is super passionate about the history of his country. His English is excellent and he answered all of our questions without skipping a beat. Definitely request Bessem when booking this tour!
