The trip was great. Max is great guide!
This was the perfect introduction to rafting for our family of 5, ages 14, 12, and 9. Our guide, Meara, was engaging, informative, and so sweet. The ride to the site gave us all the info we needed and the ride back was hilarious with plenty of jokes and funny stories. We will book through American Adventures again and do a long more intense trip.
Our guide Josh and crew were great! We enjoyed the entire experience.
We had a great time and Max was the best guide!
The trip was fun with beautiful views. It was a great into trip for my family and hope to try again when water levels are higher. Grace was knowledgeable and we had an enjoyable morning thanks to her.
I enjoyed rafting with my 20 year old son. Perfect weather, beautiful nature, fun and relaxing with our guide, Max. It was a memorable summer day in Colorado.
Andy Was an Awesome guide!!!!
For our family’s first rafting trip this was an excellent experience! The company was very professional- we arrived 45 minutes early for the trip (as instructed) to get geared up and the staff put us at ease (my daughter was nervous) from the very start. Max was the guide in our boat and we couldn’t have asked for better! He was not only extremely personable and entertaining but also shared his extensive knowledge of the river, geology, and nature. His enthusiasm and live for rafting and all things Colorado is evident! The river is at a historical low - which put my daughter at ease - but Max made sure to keep the ride exciting for us with spins, wheelies and “spicy lines”!! We even had the opportunity to get out of the raft and jump from a small cliff into the river or just swim to cool off. I highly recommend rafting with American Adventure Expeditions and Max as your guide!!
We had a foursome with Logan along the Arkansas river which was at a historic low. Logan delivered. Our raft was guided successfully to the end where we did a wheelie and spun 180 degrees without tipping over. His attitude was fun and it helped created a great sense of camaraderie and collaboration within our group. We would recommend this rafting experience to anyone, ESPECIALLY with Logan as guide.
Brandon did a great job of navigating the water. It was August so the levels were low but the rivers weren't closed for the season. We never really got stuck and we had a great time! The guides have a fun time roasting each other which is always a good way to pass the time in the bus. There are also a couple of future stand-up comics among the rafting crew. We highly recommend this rafting company.
