Guided kayaking trip exploring the secrets of the Tenby coastline

A great experience with a very knowledgable and informative guide. All ages enjoyed it and was brilliant value!

We had a fantastic experience with Ricky and Sam last week. They were both super friendly and chilled but also organised and responsible. They explained how to use the kayaks well, even for the children, and Ricky - who took us out on the water - gave us lots of interesting info about the area/local wildlife while we travelled along the beautiful coast. Thanks so much - we'll be back!

We had a great kayak experience in Tenby. Tom is a fantastic guide: safety-aware and interesting fun facts. We spent three hours (of which two hours on the water) and learned basic skills. We went around a small island and along the coast. Highly recommended for beginners wanting to kayak on the sea, and fun for all!

It was a first time to Wales and a first time on a sea kayak. Took the family (boys aged 12 and 14), a very nervous wife, and we had an absolutely brilliant time. We could not have asked for a nicer and more knowledgable instructor, who was patient with us newbies and went at just the right pace. We explored caves, paddled to a secluded beach and were even given a lesson on tides. I cannot recommend this experience enough, we loved it and Tom was fantastic. As you can tell by all his other 5 star reviews. Thank you so much for one of our holiday highlights.

Firstly the beach and surrounding area is absolutely stunning, plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to relax before or after your adventure. Second, Tenby Adventure staff Tom & Elfie both 100% amazing, they really made our visit more than welcoming, explained thoroughly all aspects of safety before entering the water and far better than expected. The activities, we opted for the kayaking package, the experience was brought to life with lots of fun humour, historical facts and interesting knowledge, it was definitely a forever memory. The staff were so good and we enjoyed ourselves so much, they took some pretty amazing photos of the entire group while out on the water which were later sent to us via WhatsApp. All the family 3 adults 3 children absolutely loved it. Thank you Tom & Elfie I can’t thank you enough, you were both amazing and made our day a very happy life memory.

This was amazing. I went with 4 kids 14-6 and they all loved it. Though I can’t decide if my partner loved it more. It was everyone’s first time and we all managed with the younger two in two seater kayaks. 100% recommend and we hope to be back next year!

Booked the experience with my partner as a final day activity before leaving Tenby after a week stay. It was the best thing we did, what a way to finish. A well-organised and fabulous way to experience Tenby, from the water. Information and instructions pre-activity were clear and very helpful (if you are booked on a Saturday, especially afternoon, then consider getting to the car parks very early, as the closer ones get full very quickly). Rhys and Sam were very welcoming and wonderful leaders, providing a safe, relaxed and light-hearted approach to make the experience interesting and enjoyable. It didn't matter what your level or age, everyone is catered for. Great value for money, when you consider the insurance costs for such an activity, time spent on the water, equipment provided (you can have a single or a double kayak, bouyancy aid, helmet, dry bag for your own stuff you wish to take with you and a supplied waterproof top, in case you get cold during the activity), and excellent guidance. The kayaks were easy to control and felt very secure. The only thing I would suggest to improve things would be for possibly the leaders to perhaps take a few photos out on the water and possibly post them on the website so that people can have a record of their great time. It wouldn't take long and there were enough stopping points to do this without shortening the activity., a few group shots would do. Just a thought. Anytime we return to Tenby in the future we will aim to include this adventure in our visit. This is a must for families, couples and singles. Many thanks to Sam and Rhys for giving us the best way to complete our holiday.

What an absolutely fantastic experience! We had such a brilliant time kayaking along the stunning Tenby coastline. The views were incredible, and seeing the coastline from the water made the whole experience even more special. 🌊 A huge shout-out to the instructors, who were amazing, funny, friendly and incredibly considerate. They made us feel comfortable and safe while keeping us laughing throughout , even when our kayaking skills were slightly questionable! 😂 They were knowledgeable, patient and made the whole experience enjoyable for everyone. We all absolutely loved it and came away with some fantastic memories (and a few tired arms!). It was the perfect combination of adventure, beautiful scenery and plenty of laughs. We would 100% recommend this experience and will definitely be back to try one of the other experiences next time. Thank you for such a brilliant day!
