About 20 passengers on this trip. Captain spoke Greek and English- a friendly, knowledgeable Captain. Saw a turtle, near the harbour, within a few minutes. Lovely sightseeing trip of caves and blue/turquoise waters. Two swim drops. Second swim drop you can purchase hots dogs, soft drinks, alcoholic drinks and a pineapple pina colada (€20 but serves two - great for photos in thos stunning location! 🤭) Admission €31 pp for thos 3 hour trip. Best for couples and families with older children. Don’t panic when you first arrive at the port and see about 100 people waiting for your boat! The Captain sorts out passengers for each boat and everyone gets a seat on one of their many boats. PS it’s nice to take some euros to drop in the tip box for the Captain. So glad we saw the turtle near the harbour as that was the only sighting.
We booked a turtle watching and Keri Caves trip for 6 PM, but apparently Zeus, Poseidon, and Athena held an emergency meeting and decided that under no circumstances were we actually going to make it. When you book a trip like this, and pay extra for hotel pickup, you reasonably expect two things, to be picked up, and to receive correct information. Apparently, both were too ambitious. First, Poseidon decided to unleash chaos on the sea, so the 6 PM tour was moved to 3 PM. Fair enough, weather happens. The problem was that we were only told about this around three hours beforehand, despite being told we would receive updates 24 to 48 hours in advance. Then Athena apparently used her wisdom to alter the numbers on the pickup vehicle’s licence plate, because the GetYourGuide representative gave us the wrong plate number to look for. We waited for around 40 minutes with absolutely no communication, despite sending several WhatsApp messages. Eventually, we turned to Socrates’ final philosophical solution, calling them ourselves. That was when we were told that the driver had already left without us. The representative apologized and admitted that we had been given the wrong licence plate number. And then Zeus delivered the final thunderbolt, our trip was cancelled. Apparently, arranging a taxi for us was impossible. Waiting for us to get there by taxi ourselves was also impossible. And, naturally, asking the driver to come back was completely out of the question. So despite us being at the agreed pickup location and missing the vehicle because they gave us the wrong information, the solution was simply to cancel our booking and refund us. We therefore spent the rest of our final day lying by the pool instead. The turtles were probably lovely from a distance, since you apparently cannot swim with them anyway, and I sincerely hope everyone who actually managed to identify the correct mystery vehicle had a great trip and survived Poseidon’s mayhem. Advice: Double check the licence plate they give you, because apparently that information cannot be trusted. And definitely do not book this tour on your final day in Zakynthos, because if something goes wrong, they may simply make the decision for you and cancel the whole thing. At least we got a refund. Zeus works in mysterious ways.
We had a wonderful experience yesterday with Nikos in southern west of island. We saw Keri caves, Marathonisi beach, Mizithres and lot of unique places. He had fun, listen greek , spanish music, swim in the cristal water and jumped on the Cliffs. Thank very much Nikos, all the best from România!
One of the best boat trips we've ever had! From the pick-up point until the very last minute of our adventure, Captain Nikos was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and dedicated to making our experience unforgettable. He explained every place we visited in detail and shared fascinating information about each location. The kids had an amazing time, and even though I usually suffer from motion sickness, I felt completely safe and comfortable throughout the trip. It was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zakynthos. It's an absolute must-do, and definitely choose Captain Nikos!
We had a lot of fun and our host was super kind… beautiful sea trip, beautiful beaches
Our tour guide nicholas was incredible, very funny and informative.
PERFECT!!! It was beautiful, I highly recommend it, the guide Nikos was fantastic!! Very kind and available for everything. Not to mention the breathtaking landscapes we had the opportunity to see. He was very good, we even went inside some caves and saw quite a few turtles. Everything beautiful, super recommended experience!!
Everything perfect, I recommend it
Nicolas is a wonderful captain! We had a beautiful trip! We will definitely return, happy children and parents too!
Very disappointing. The pin in their activity location was inaccurate and we ended up waiting with the wrong people although we're in the correct company. So when we found out that we are in the wrong group, the boat we're supposed to be in has already left as it has gone past 1. There were seven of us (2 couples and 1 family of 3). The family managed to squeeze in to a boat that is leaving while we were left there and had to contact the organiser. We waited for another 15 minutes as they send another boat who looks like they are also from a different company and just squeezed us in. As expected, this GUARANTEED turtle spotting activity had became waste of money as we did not get to see any turtle at all since that is not the actual activity we booked. Ended up going back when the boat captain went to pick another group of passengers from the port as it was just a waste of time.
